Anyone had their 3rd jab?

Has anyone has their 3rd jab yet? I've been invited to mine next week. I had terrible side effects after the 1st but none after the 2nd. I was just wondering if anyone had any side effects after it?

OP posts:

I had my flu and covid booster at the same time. Felt a little bit 'achy' but it was absolutely fine.m Smile

I had my 3rd jab yesterday, I've just got a sore arm today .
Felt rough after 1st jab and fine after 2nd aswell .

Dobbyafreeelf · 14/10/2021 16:17

Yes had mine on Monday. No major side effects this time. Sore arm but then that's kinda to be expected. I was pretty tired on Tuesday but that could have been contributed to by other things (stress).
I had Pfizer all 3 times

HTruffle · 14/10/2021 16:39

Just a sore arm here. I believe most people get a Pfizer this time regardless of what you had last time. Hope you feel ok.

Gizmo98765 · 14/10/2021 16:43

Had 3rd at the weekend and felt much better than I did after the first two.

WakeMeUpin22 · 14/10/2021 16:45

Can anyone get the third jab? Do you just get invited to it?

Poshjock · 14/10/2021 16:52

Minor sore arm and a bit tired in the evening after 1 and 2. Minor sore arm and a bit headachy for 48 hours with a spell of dizziness for a couple of hours in day two after booster. Nothing particularly onerous, just spent an enforced restful Sunday after a Friday jab. All Pfizer.

Newchallenge · 14/10/2021 16:53

Yes, sore arm but that's it.

Poshjock · 14/10/2021 16:55

I went to walk in centre but had to show proof of date of second dose (6 months ago) and registration card to prove front line medical staff. I didn’t have any invite but was able to go on NHS Inform and access appointment booking due to eligibility. My colleague had email inviting her to make appointment and was similarly accepted at walk in.

Nothingoriginalhere · 14/10/2021 16:58

I had my booster ( Nhs worker) 2 weeks ago, was okay for 18hrs then suddenly as rough as anything, arm felt like it was inflamed from the shoulder to my finger joints, then in turn fever, chills, cough , sore throat and fatigue - lasted 36 hours then was right as rain again.
I had Pfizer all 3 times and no reaction at all to first 2.
However as we have just had a mid 30s Patient die from covid with no underlying conditions, I will take the reaction gladly.
There is a big increase in Nhs staff getting covid as they come towards the end of the 6 months post initial vaccines apparently.

IfImLyingImDying · 14/10/2021 16:59

Had a sore arm and a headache for a day. Nothing some paracetamol couldn’t sort.

TravellingSpoon · 14/10/2021 16:59

Had my third jab 3 weeks ago. I felt fine in myself but my arm was really sore for 2 days ( waking up in the night because I was in pain from laying on it sore) which I didnt have with either of the other two.

housestuff · 14/10/2021 17:02

My parents and elderly neighbours, all have been fine.

Boopeedoop · 14/10/2021 17:08

Swelling under the armpit for 24 hours. Other than that, fine

DowntonCrabby · 14/10/2021 17:14

I had it yesterday along with a flu vaccine, I don’t feel 100% today so taking it easy but nothing that’s keeping me from doing what I need to.

TwilightSkies · 14/10/2021 17:17

Yeah I felt like shit for days. No reaction to the first one, bit flu-y after the second for 24hours.
Lots of staff in my work had bad reactions with the booster (care home).

hpstitch · 14/10/2021 17:25

Well I've just had Covid and only had my second jab mid June. So 4 months ago, was pretty bad.

girlsyearapart · 14/10/2021 17:36

Yep had AZ first two then Pfizer
Felt ok with the second really rubbish first and medium rubbish with the third.

The medicine I take wrecks my immune system so I don’t know if I’m a good example

Damnloginpopup · 15/10/2021 00:07

Third Pfizer. No issue at all.

DoucheCanoe · 15/10/2021 00:15

Had my 3rd Pfizer and flu jags together on Sunday.

The area the needle went in was a bit tender for 24 hours and I've been more tired than usual since but nothing noteworthy.

Had a few minor reactions to the first 2 - sore arm for 24 hours, swollen glands on day 3 and fatigued.

Woahbodyforrrrm · 15/10/2021 00:20

I had my first two (AZ) and reacted awfully to the first one but was okay with the second.

I had my booster a few weeks ago (Pfizer) and my arm was much more sore then I expected but was fine after a day or two and other then a little tiredness, I was fine.

I hope you feel okay after it too!

AutumnColours9 · 15/10/2021 00:21

Had booster and flu both at same time in same arm. Had headache felt a bit off and very sore arm. Same as first 2 times. I got invited via GP and by work (NHS) as Had 2nd a good while ago

Girlintheframe · 15/10/2021 00:24

Had Pfizer and flu at the same time. Was a bit anxious as felt dreadful after the 2nd one.

Arm was sore and I felt more tired than usual but nothing that stoped me doing anything.

GreenLunchBox · 15/10/2021 00:27

Arm was more sore than it was with the first two injections. It's five days later and if I press the area it's still very slightly tender now

Period has not arrived, which is very unusual for me. I track it on an app and it's usually accurate to the hour!

Magissa · 15/10/2021 00:29

Previously had two AZ. Last one in April.
Had my booster on Monday it was Pfizer. Very sore aching arm for two days but nothing else. Had my flu jab three weeks ago.
