Please....

SE England.

Our last testing, way back April, took 8/9 hours. Anyone had quicker?

Sussex here, over this week for 9 tests from 23 hours to 30 hours.

23 hours is the quickest Ive ever had. Early Jan 2021 I waited 4 days for one.

QueenofLouisiana · 25/09/2021 17:56

I was 13 hours.
DH was 17 hours.
DS was 24 hours.
DH and DS were done at the same time.

kakeya97 · 25/09/2021 18:05

ZeldaPrincessOfHyrule · 25/09/2021 19:47

25 hours and still waiting for DS's results here, hoping to get results before I head to bed tonight. We're SE.

teenagetantrums · 25/09/2021 19:50

Test Thursdays here in SW..results back at 7am this morning..this is for work though so maybe quicker as I'm not sure what time the courier picked up the tests sometimes they don't come till Friday morning.

1309username · 25/09/2021 19:52

Does anyone know how the testing works?

My fear is that my samples have been misplaced and by the time they’re analized, the result won’t be accurate.

Hopefully I’m wrong

AbstractEim · 25/09/2021 19:57

To update...came through at 4.31am!

So now I have two children at home for the next week and a bit.

Simplelobsterhat · 26/09/2021 07:34

We've has quite a few back in 12 hours in the past but this week dds took 33 hours so I think they are busy at the moment. The longest was about 3 1/2 days for ds in early summer 20, but that was not long after testing became more available so I guess they were still working on capacity.

UmbilicusProfundus · 26/09/2021 08:13

@Toottooot

Within half an hour - private facility.
Where was that done @Toottooot

Did not realise that was even possible with PCR technology.

JemimaMuddledUp · 26/09/2021 08:16

Not what you want to hear but my DS did a test on Thursday and we had the results back at 4am this morning (Sunday).

frozendaisy · 26/09/2021 09:51

Drive in - south leics . 12.30 pm yesterday in this am at 9 - positive & negative . Earlier pcr in the week took just over 24hrs . Had been watching & waiting with the lat flows .

MargaretLove · 26/09/2021 11:30

Tested at 11am yesterday. Results arrived at 3am today.

WellTidy · 26/09/2021 14:38

Ours was 60 hours in the end. Thursday morning to late Saturday night. Ds had tested positive on a lateral flow test prior to us taking him for the PCR tallest, so we were working on the basis that he was positive anyway.
