Pfizer double jabees, which one had most side effects?

Hodan85 · 06/08/2021 07:50

I have my second Pfizer jab shortly and we're on holiday the next day, so just wondering what people's experience of side effects after their second jab, compared to first were? I realise it varies between people, but thought I'd do a little straw poll!

I had no/very little side effects after first jab.

TIA

I felt rubbish after the first one for about 24 hours. Slight headache after the second, but generally not too bad.

AnUnlikelyCombination · 06/08/2021 07:52

Second one made my feel tired and a bit spaced out the day after I had it. Still able to work, though. First one was just a slightly sore arm.

RuleWithAWoodenFoot · 06/08/2021 07:52

None after first.
After second I had a clear day, then felt shit for about 10 days. The clear day made me think the cold thing was coincidental.

fluffygreenmonsterhoody · 06/08/2021 07:53

I had nothing after the first one. Was fine immediately after the second one (6pm at night) other than a sore arm.

About 11am the next day I felt a bit fuzzy-headed. By 1pm I had to go back to bed for a few hours and was a bit off for the rest of the day.

Woke up next morning absolutely fine. I do know people who’ve had absolutely no side effects tho so hopefully you’re one of them!

OldPodge · 06/08/2021 07:53

Nothing. Felt fine with both.

orangepeelsz · 06/08/2021 07:54

Sore arm and a little tired after both

podgydalmatian · 06/08/2021 07:54

Nothing after the first. Was fine for about 12 hours after the second then started to get very achy sore arm. Had a fever and just feeling of yuckiness for the next day.

genome · 06/08/2021 07:54

Nothing but sore arm after first. My bones ached and I felt wiped out after the second from about 12-28 hours after the second jab. I felt pretty bad and had to go for a nap, but it was pretty short lived.

CloseYourEyesAndSee · 06/08/2021 07:55

A sore arm after the first, a slightly less sore arm after the second.

Bennetgirl · 06/08/2021 07:55

I was quite ill the night of my first. I only had a sore arm after the second x

BootsScootsAndToots · 06/08/2021 07:55

Sore arm with both jabs but nothing else.

Blamelesscars · 06/08/2021 07:56

2nd was worse for me my arm hurt much more and I felt really shot for about 48 hrs but DH had his 2nd weds and apart from a tender arm feels absolutely fine. He felt really ill after his first so I was bracing myself for that again

LutherRalph1 · 06/08/2021 07:57

Much heavier arm for second but no other side effects for either

Boombadoom · 06/08/2021 07:57

I was a little tired with the first but it didn’t stop me doing anything, and my arm was very sore for a day or so.

Second, sore arm but milder, lasted an extra couple of days. No other side effects

ElizaDoolots · 06/08/2021 07:57

Nothing after the first. Was fine for about 12 hours after the second then started to get very achy sore arm. Had a fever and just feeling of yuckiness for the next day.

This was exactly my experience too. Had my second jab at 9am and by 7pm I was so drained I had to go to bed. Felt rough the next day but not so bad that I couldn’t get on with things. And then felt totally fine after 24hrs.

MarciaMarciaMarcia · 06/08/2021 07:58

Had my second jab yesterday. Got up and had a cup of tea, and am now back in bed. Feel ok, just tired.

ShinyGreenElephant · 06/08/2021 07:58

No side effects for either, just a stiff arm (arm was worse with the first one I think)

Crunchymum · 06/08/2021 07:59

Didn't even have a sore arm after the 2nd (and that was my only symptom after the 1st)

whatswithtodaytoday · 06/08/2021 07:59

First I had a headache and very sore arm for a couple of days, fine really. Second my arm was much less sore but I was very tired for 3-4 days after. I coped with normal life though, just needed to sit down a lot and go to bed early!

So long as you're not driving for hours or climbing up a mountain when you arrive, you should be fine.

FlagsFiend · 06/08/2021 08:18

I'd previously had covid (some people say that makes a difference).

First jab - very tired in the afternoon, felt pretty rough the next day - nauseous and tired so spent it in bed. Tiredness continued for a couple of days but was able to work as normal. Arm a bit achy.

Second jab - felt fine, except for my arm. I physically couldn't lift it, made getting dressed interesting... Lasted a couple of days.

gurglebelly · 06/08/2021 08:20

Apart from a sore arm I had no side effects with either

ABitOfAShitShow · 06/08/2021 08:29

Absolutely none for either at my end. My arm was sore for a couple of days - as they usually are after any jab but nothing else.

Ragwort · 06/08/2021 08:30

Very mild sore arm after second jab, but hardly enough to even notice. No other side effects.

atleastitswarm · 06/08/2021 08:32

Fine with both here but 3 of my colleagues were fine with their first and then felt awful with the second, couldn’t stop vomiting and had to have days off work. DD is in similar position to you, her driving test is the day after her second dose and it’s made her a bit worried!

happinessischocolate · 06/08/2021 08:33

First one I had a headache the next day.
Second one I got flu symptom for the next 3 days, but took cold and flu tablets which pretty much kept the symptoms away for 3 hours, then gradually symptoms came back till I could take the next tablet. Managed to work fine, and just had early nights.
