I've just put Jersey into that website linked to, and we're currently top of the world figures for vaccinations (no surprise, because we know how well it's gone locally, but still nice to have some global recognition).
Why aren't the Crown Dependencies who are ahead of the UK getting any recognition here? We're not part of the UK mainland, we've ridden the 'exit wave' rather well over the last few weeks, with no isolation now unless you're positive, and only 1 more death (who was an anti-vaxxer/unvaccinated person) and only 0.5% hospitlisations compared to 10% back in the winter. And over the weekend our active cases have halved.
No one gives us the credit for trying out the way forward while other places dither and dally over what to do. We're actually living recovery and 'living with' over here, even with tourists coming in over the border (tested free of charge) and we're doing very well!
