How long are tests currently taking?

Just wondered with all these cases if tests are taking a while to come back?

How long have people waited this week?

I had mine at 10:30am Friday and result was back by 10:00pm (-ve luckily)

My postal test was about 18 hours midweek but my husband's test posted a couple of days later is at 36 hours and counting.

I did a drive through at 1030am yesterday and the (negative) result arrived at 9am this morning.

My DDs result took 48 hours from test to result at the start of the week but we’re in a very high rate area so not sure if that’s why it took so long.

Posted mine on Thursday, still waiting. DCs posted the week before, results within 48 hours (positive).

I went to a drive through test centre at 1.20pm on Friday, got my result at 10pm on Saturday.

We had one done yesterday (sat) morning and still waiting. Sussex area. 30+ hours

So frustrating because I want to know if we can go out tomorrow. Checking my phone like a mad woman!

Test 1pm on Friday, results back by 8am on Saturday. Negative luckily.

DD did a home test on Thursday, posted it off on Thursday, but because she didn't register it till Friday, they can't start chasing the result till tomorrow. She's been isolating since Tuesday, with still no idea if she has Covid or not Sad

We're in Sussex too - husband's just came back 42 hours after the lab received the test.

Longer than normal here too (East). Last time one of the DC was tested (May time) it took 12 hours. Had one tested at a drive-through yesterday morning and still not back.

DH had one yesterday (Saturday) afternoon at 1pm. Still waiting for the result. I’ve done 4 at various points over the last year and have never had the results back sooner than 3 days.

I’m in West Sussex.

I had to do one for each DC, 24 hours apart. (Both postal). They both arrived within 15 mins of each other. First one took over 48 hours, second took just over 24

I did my two DD's Saturday morning by post, they arrive Saturday evening. Just received on back and anxiously waiting for the other so if it's negative they can go for their last week of school.
Is there a way of tracking them?

Drive through 10.30am yesterday (sat) results 5.45 am Sunday. DH positive, myself negative so our LF tests were correct. Feeling a bit rough as the day has gone on so I've not escaped it.

Me and my son between us have had at least 6 or 7 tests. Have always come back within 24 hours apart from the one we did at 8:30 yest morn. Still waiting. Guessing there's a massive backlog.
