As title says 2nd AZ jab 8am Friday since mid afternoon Friday I’ve had the worst migraine/headache I’ve ever experienced. I can barely lift my head off the pillow because of the pain, vomiting and head feels like someone has taken a hammer to the back and top of my head continuously. I also have neck pain and a bit of neck stiffness, I am worried about blood clots but everything online says the headache for that starts after 4 days. I have taken 2 30mg codiene 500mg paracetamol prescriptions tablets every 4 hours and they are not touching it.

Sorry if it is a bit gobbled, I can’t think straight with the pain.

I would get yourself checked to make sure.

HarveySpectorWins · 11/07/2021 17:37

I think you should phone 111 for advice. I know they say a headache can be a side effect but there's no harm in ringing. Best getting it checked and it being nothing than not checking it.

Everything online? Personal accounts or NHS literature? Yes, you should call out of hours and get checked. I'd be concerned too. The chances are you'll be fine but I think you need a medical opinion just to be sure. Hope you feel better soon.

NoNobramma · 11/07/2021 17:38

Call 111 and get checked over.

Quartz2208 · 11/07/2021 17:42

Yes you should be getting medical advice on that

TheSquigglething · 11/07/2021 17:42

Another vote to getting checked. Call 111 or see out of hours GP. I'd say those symptoms need checking, even if you hadn't just had AZ.
All the best for a speedy recovery.

Backofbeyond50 · 11/07/2021 18:44

Yeah get checked out.

BertieBotts · 11/07/2021 18:45

Yes, you need to go to out of hours.

JacketSpud55 · 11/07/2021 18:48

She is 15 so old enough to manage that. There is no way I could drive myself tho no way at all, between the dizziness, sickness and blurred vision

This is an A&E matter due to worsening symptoms, pain relief not working and neck stiffness and vomiting, you need to be seen urgently.

Choconuttolata · 11/07/2021 18:50

Just seen your other symptom update, phone 999 not 111.

Rainbowsandstorms · 11/07/2021 19:28

You need to call 999 with the blurred vision and vomiting too. I hope you are better very soon.

OppsUpsSide · 11/07/2021 19:29

Hope you are getting yourself seen
