Anyone not having vaccine , why aren't you?

LazyDaisy10 · 20/05/2021 09:37

Is anyone not having the vaccine and what are your reasons? Im in my 30s I'm not having the vaccine because I'm worried about the long term effects that might not come to light for a few years. Why are you not having it?
If you think the vaccine is amazing and anyone not having it is selfish you probably don't need to comment.

@Roonerspismed

I know an alarmingly high number of older people who have suffered strokes and heart attacks in the weeks following their vaccine. One was 89 and just dropped dead. Because they are elderly it’s not been reported. I am not sure I trust the data

I think blood clots have probably been well studied. The other stuff? I honestly have no idea. The original study was small and didn’t include many elderly.

What happened in nursing homes come January? Did deaths go up at all?

Deaths did actually shoot up in many countries just after they started vaccination Hmm

The graphs to show this are all easily available online.

bumbleymummy · 22/05/2021 07:39

@DenisetheMenace Thanks. I don’t think I’ll hold my breath for that apology though Grin

Cinclus · 22/05/2021 10:36

My gran had 2 small heartattacks 8 week after having the Pfizer
She’s 84

🤦‍♀️

CantGetNoSleep73 · 22/05/2021 11:14

Why the 🤦‍♀️?

Are people seriously not questioning the number of issues after the jabs on offer? Periods all gone awry, headaches lasting weeks, eye trouble, clots, heart issues.

Surely the fact the pharma companies all have indemnity clauses would make people question why?

🤦‍♀️

Cinclus · 22/05/2021 11:46

I am questioning the link between an 84 yr old having a heart attack and a vaccine 8 weeks earlier. 84 yr olds have heart attacks all the time. How could that 8 week delay work biologically? It might just as well be linked to a bacon sandwich or a sneeze.

Backofbeyond50 · 22/05/2021 11:51

I know someone who has always been anti vax all her life but she has reached a new level with Covid denying and well tbh bullying about the vaccine.
She has fully brought into the ridiculous idea that you will all be dead within two years if you have the vaccine and wasn't afraid to tell me to try and stop me having the vaccine.
Every death within 28 days of a vaccine is a vaccine death according to her. Even someone who was 99. Yes 99
Yet she comes up with the most bizarre explanations for every COVID death. Yes we have the old and pre existing conditions one which apparently doesn't apply to vaccines.
We had the it's bacterial pneumonia caused by mask wearing one.
It's SIDS when the 16 year old dies with no pre existing conditions as they must have just had a vaccine or they had an unknown pre existing condition.
Yet if anyone gets ill following the vaccine it is definitely the vaccine. I wonder how long will will go on for. A month, 60 days or 6 years?

Cinclus · 22/05/2021 11:53

Why the 🤦‍♀️?

(Also because it's about as useful a piece of evidence as me saying I have had Pfizer and not had a heart attack. And nowhere near as useful as pointing out the millions of other people who have had Pfizer and not had a heart attack.)

shazzz1xx · 22/05/2021 12:01

Millions will not have the jab and what are you gunna do about it? Zilch so get over it !

WeAreTheHeroes · 22/05/2021 12:08

Well there's an erudite contribution.

imforourfreedomback · 22/05/2021 12:08

For everyone who is pro Covid vaccine, please can you answer this question:

Why is the government spending £320 mil on Covid 19 Media buying services 2021-2022?
www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/6043d1fd-1f8c-4232-a32a-a658e19abcb1?origin=SearchResults&p=1

Why are they so desperate for us to have the vaccine? If this virus is as deadly as they say it is, there is no need for this massive expenditure. People would queue day and night to have it done without any government propaganda.

I am not anti vaccines- myself and my family are up to date with our vaccines but I do question the government's desperation and I wonder why others follow blindly what the government is feeding them.

WeAreTheHeroes · 22/05/2021 12:11

Where to start... it's not just public information about vaccines. If it is desperation maybe it's because they want the economy to revive and they need to find a way of paying back all the money they've borrowed to prop everything up?

imforourfreedomback · 22/05/2021 12:11

@CantGetNoSleep73 I feel the same. So many questions the way the virus /vaccines are being handled. Why the pressure to get the vaccine? I really don't get it.

In 3 weeks I received 3 text messages and one letter. Why? I will have it done when I'm comfortable with having it done.

Rosehip10 · 22/05/2021 12:12

These threads always attract airheads (who always claim to have read up "extensively" on vaccines)

Nerdygirl · 22/05/2021 12:12

Agree , I was made to feel like a conspiracy theorist by my own mother as I told her to check the ons covid death stats by area . In the whole town there were 14 deaths attributed to covid since March 2020. But she refused to believe these stats even though published by the ons. And apparently she doesn’t want to talk to me now about it as I am anti vax because I questioned things . Crazy

imforourfreedomback · 22/05/2021 12:13

@WeAreTheHeroes if they really cared for the economy they wouldn't spend £320mil on future publicity. It seems a bit backwards...they should open up the country.

Cinclus · 22/05/2021 12:14

Why is the government spending £320 mil on Covid 19 Media buying services 2021-2022?

Because of people like some on this thread

Because vaccination is our best strategy against the pandemic at the moment, but only works as a solution if enough people have it

Because lockdowns are political dynamite and they want to avoid at all costs

Because they don't want to keep paying for furlough

Because the NHS is struggling and needs to catch up

Because public health is their responsibility

And maybe because one of them has a mate who needs £350M

imforourfreedomback · 22/05/2021 12:17

@Rosehip10 well it also attracts the other type of airheads that are "blind" and believe everything the gov and media feeds them on tv. Because of these airheads we are still in lockdown and our lives are on stop.

imforourfreedomback · 22/05/2021 12:19

@cinclus you really believe that this expenditure is necessary? Wow

It's so much money that could help all who have lost their livelihoods because of the lockdowns.

imforourfreedomback · 22/05/2021 12:21

When people predicted vaccine passports last year they were called conspiracy theorists and now the governments are looking to implement them. What does that tell you?

Do you really think that they will stop at 2 vaccine doses? That's what scares me. I will have it done if it stops there. 2 doses and that's it

paulhollywoodshairgel · 22/05/2021 12:28

I'd have all 3 of them once a month rather than put others at risk (work in healthcare) or go back into lockdown.

WeAreTheHeroes · 22/05/2021 12:32

Those people are already receiving govt assistance. I agree with Cinclus. It's a choice - £320m is a drop in the ocean compared with what was actually in the AME budget for benefits each year: £190bn. 0.1% of that.

Cinclus · 22/05/2021 12:34

[quote imforourfreedomback]@cinclus you really believe that this expenditure is necessary? Wow

I didn't say I thought it was necessary but presumably someone with more information than I have has calculated that this is cheaper than the costs of people not getting vaccinated. I'm sure they would prefer not to have to spend it.

WeAreTheHeroes · 22/05/2021 12:35

If UC was increased by 0.1% that would equate to 40p per month per claimant. The covid related advertising has kept cases down and the cost to the NHS of treating it.

Slinkery · 22/05/2021 12:35

Telling people who have the opposite view to you not to post is a bit pointless

Rosehip10 · 22/05/2021 12:43

@imforourfreedomback you do realise the vast majority of the public couldn't care less about using vaccine passports to access stuff? In fact they will be happy to do whatever to access it. A few shrill "freedom" posters on MN and piers corbyn loons does not reflect popular opinion.
