@carrieeee ah that makes sense, my friend got a GP text and it also told her which one.

These disappearing appointments are worrying, we only have 2 sites I'm happy to drive to so not sure what happens if mines cancelled and then I can't book one I can get to

I imagine the poor GP staff are inundated with calls asking which vaccine, so it saves half a day of answering phones to state in the message what vaccine it is

Just booked in for DP. He is 31 and not 32 until September. It wouldn’t let me book the second for 12 weeks after the first though, was hoping for it to be a bit closer to 8 weeks

ahh I can too but sadly once I selected the only centre close enough to me and tried to book, it disappeared

@speckledostrichegg keep trying they add more appointments frequently.

Appointments are only added frequently in some parts of the country. You may have to travel far.

DD 30 (just turned 30 last week) just managed to book for Sunday using the national booking site

Exactly 30 also and just booked in for this week, was quite a shock, dp also got the same request but appointments went really quickly.

Has anyone been able to book in bristol (or bath)?

was very excited to see I can finally book a lot but nothing is coming up - the closest is weston supermare and sadly as I don't drive it's a no go!

Oh this is promising! Hopefully 29 won’t be too long to wait then.

I had Pfizer at Bath yesterday.

I have tried to book one for days but it won't let me cos you have to book both appointments together and it tell me when I can for the first one but then says there's no availability for the 2nd one at all!
But it won't let you book just one!
I don't drive so can't get to the others
Everyone else in my family has had it

I am having am absolute nightmare with the system in that bath racecourse & ashton gate periodically appear as options, but then when I go through the process of picking a timeslot, it says there aren't any and dumps me back to the main page with only yeovil as an option

I finally got a slot after so many refreshes and then ran into exactly the same issue

It's so shit you'd have thought they would let you book one at least by itself

Site's showing as unavailable for maintenance now.

Hoping it'll be down to 28 & 29 by Friday, as it seems to have dropped down another 2 year age bracket!

especially after all the anticipation of refreshing the page for slots millions of times, it's worse than glasto tickets

Is it 18 and over they are supposed to do by the end of July, ie just over 2 months? I guess they are still on course.

They opened up the site to 39 year olds on the 12th and now 30 year olds can book. so that’s 2 weeks for all 30 something year olds so end of July is very doable for all over 18. .

There's been a few MPs saying that end of June for all adults to have first dose is looking likely now, but they won't change the target of July in case there's supply issues again

I could only get a slot seven days away but I didn't get kicked out like you. Mind you I was doing it at 8 in the morning on the first day my age group opened, maybe that worked in my favour.
