I was able to book this evening, May 79 in north Hampshire, have to travel a bit for my first dose (about 30 miles), but booked for Saturday week. Second appointment is only a few minutes down the road.

nancy75 · 26/04/2021 23:25

Booked for DH today (born Feb 79) closest place was 18th May but other option a couple of miles away got appt for this Sunday. We are in the London borough that has the biggest ‘old’ population so lots here already had one or both jabs

Torvean · 26/04/2021 23:29

Here's your chance if you are 18 up and not had 1 vaccination. And no placebo in this trial. 2 vaccination.
Looks like its well spread out. Even as far SW as Plymouth

Barnsley have text friends aged 41 and over last week.

bubblebubblebubbletrouble · 27/04/2021 00:23

I'm August 79 and just tried to book on national site and not eligible yet.
Fingers crossed it'll be soon - they were inviting walk-ins aged 45+ last week according to borough social channels so must be getting there.
Bit annoying that they've moved from 5 year increments to 1. I wonder if there are expected supply issues still?

Pearl97 · 27/04/2021 06:50

Over 42’s on main site xxx

WaitinginWorcestershire · 27/04/2021 06:53

Pearl exciting. Explains why I could book last night.

OrangeBananaFish · 27/04/2021 07:09

@TokyoSushi

I reckon I've checked about 30 times today *@OrangeBananaFish* if anybody gets an alert each time I check, they'll think I'm insane!!!
I'm definitely insane haha. Just need one closer. I'm not taking annual leave to drive 90 mins for a vaccine and 90 mins back again when I live near 2 mass vaccination centres. I'd happily go on a weekend or something.
TokyoSushi · 27/04/2021 07:12

First check of the day, no! 🙄

MRex · 27/04/2021 07:15

@TokyoSushi

First check of the day, no! 🙄
Snap for 1980 London.

Aug 79 and not eligible yet.
Question is what wil I do with the extra hour I’ll get every day when I’m no longer checking if I’m eligible!

Scissorsforthedrifter · 27/04/2021 07:24

Maybe 1980 today 🤔

@Dailywalk I know 😂

Eccle80 · 27/04/2021 07:27

Really hoping for another two years to be added today! One year would just miss me out on the date cut off they are using

Deedippy · 27/04/2021 07:29

Booking site officially changed to 42

Andrewsgirl · 27/04/2021 07:31

So annoying, am 2 weeks too old!!! Will keep trying every hour today 🤣

Quartz2208 · 27/04/2021 07:38

So glad (well not glad but you know what I mean) that there are still some 1979 and 1980 on here waiting for it! I thought the disadvantages of being born in August had disappeared once I turned 18 but clearly not.

This reminds me of the 1997 election when the majority of my classmates could vote!

TokyoSushi · 27/04/2021 07:44

I'm 1980, logistically, I'd really like mine on Friday, it's going to be tight! 😂

UselessTrees · 27/04/2021 07:48

Late '79 here. It's so close, yet so frustratingly far! Will definitely hold off checking again now until lunchtime (spoiler alert, I definitely won't).

SurreyMumOfOne · 27/04/2021 07:52

@Quartz2208 I remember that one - I was just able to vote for the first time, as was my cousin 4.5 years older who'd just missed the previous one. She was a bit annoyed I got to do it at the same time as her!

Quartz2208 · 27/04/2021 07:58

@SurreyMumOfOne I dont think there has been an election like it since (or in my lifetime) the excitement of it all and the hope that Tony Blair would bring I was so annoyed that I couldnt vote and the majority of my classmates would.

How naive we were though!

Frazzled2207 · 27/04/2021 08:13

42 yo is in but literally no appointments in Greater Manchester atm it would seem.

Frazzled2207 · 27/04/2021 08:19

I can imagine. I was only just old enough to vote. I remember how optimistic we all were the following day.

ihavethehighground · 27/04/2021 08:37

It's changed again today on the booking website

LampLass · 27/04/2021 08:40

June 79 here, had my text invite to book through NHS website 8.30am today!

Firstworddinosaur · 27/04/2021 08:42

I'm 43 and still can't book!!! I rang them and they said no its 44 and over try again tomorrow. I said the page literally says 42. He said try again tomorrow. I could cry!!!!
