Yes no problem! He'll gratefully take whichever one he is offered, but Moderna would be an added bonus to stop elderly parents abroad worrying!

Great, thanks! I am also happy to take the one offered that day. I was however a bit surprised not being able to book the 2nd jab in the same location (Madejski in Reading), as everyone I know who went there didn’t have this issue.

Pleased to report that after having the AZ jab at Guy's Hospital yesterday (5pm), I feel absolutely fine!

I cancelled an outdoor exercise class this morning as a precaution, but my arm is fine. I feel fine. Very grateful!

As an update on us, after having AZ on Friday, I felt tired and headachy yesterday, but ok today, just slightly sore arm. Nothing too bad overall in the big scheme of things having worried how ill I might feel. DH had his yesterday, so far feeling ok.

Had AZ in Milton Keynes this morning. Was run really well, was in and out in about 10 mins. Feel fine at the moment

Checking in from elland road. Despite there being moderna signs up and a notice to rebook at elland road for your second if you were booked elsewhere, I got AZ. Appointment was 4.30. I went in at about 4.15 and was out again at 4.27. now sitting in the car for 15 minutes

@RumHoney how old are you? Was everyone getting AZ?

I'm 42 (43 this month) and both my appointments are elland road. I'm not sure what other people were getting, I didn't ask. Tbh I booked elland road because it was convenient and only found out they'd been doing moderna after I'd booked so I'm not too bothered.

I can now compare symptoms with my dad - he also had his first az today (in an EU country which is going more slowly than we are!)

Has anyone had theirs at Madjeski in Reading this weekend/last few days ? Booked in there for Tuesday, oh had Moderna there last week but don't know anyone else that's been there. Thanks.

Anybody been to Sunderland Nightingale recently? I'm booked for Thursday and hoping for Moderna.

Just checking back to say my dh had Moderna at Moulton Park today. No queues, lovely staff - all great, just no option to have a second one there for us.

I got my moderna this morning at Basildon. Signs in room saying it us a moderna centre.

35-39 is likely to be w/c 10th May from what I have read and what normally happens. It's too early right now, there are normally around 2 weeks minimum between age ranges.

Hi sorry, haven't had chance to read through all the posts. I just wanted ask if you are 40 are you still happy to have the AZ? I'm happy to have the vaccine (sort of) but would much prefer to have the Pfizer due to the blood clot risks.
