Are you logging your LFT negative results?

I posted something on the Daily Stats thread about people not logging their negative LFT results because that's what I'm hearing from my circle of acquaintance.

I'm not in the loop, really, as I have no school aged children and am not doing them through work, so wondered what anyone else was doing.

Yes we're logging them

Fileexplorerrrr · 30/03/2021 21:25

We are every time.

SaucySarah · 30/03/2021 21:26

I'm logging. Curious to know why people aren't. Can't be arsed or something more?

JasperTheHungry · 30/03/2021 21:27

Yes. Every time

SavoyCabbage · 30/03/2021 21:28

Yes, it only takes a minute if you register your details then sign in.

needadvice54321 · 30/03/2021 21:28

We are, but not sure if we're meant to do it a bit more "officially"? We simply fill in one of those Google forms for school

RoseWineTime · 30/03/2021 21:29

Yes

AyeRobot · 30/03/2021 21:30

I think people just think that a negative doesn't matter and so they can't be arsed! I shall question further...

whattodo2019 · 30/03/2021 21:30

yes

FeckinCat · 30/03/2021 21:30

Yes.

I log the results on the NHS site and again on the individual registers for my workplace and my DD's secondary school.

Bumpinthenight · 30/03/2021 21:31

Yes I am. Twice a week.
So is DD.

passengers · 30/03/2021 21:31

Yes. of course.

megletthesecond · 30/03/2021 21:31

Yes. Always through the .gov website.
And one of the dc's secondary schools needs a Google form result too.

chrisrobin · 30/03/2021 21:32

Yes, on the government website and the school web form

Donatella · 30/03/2021 21:32

In some ways it's even more important to log negatives than positives, as if only the positives get logged then the case rate will seem many times higher than it really is.

PotteringAlong · 30/03/2021 21:33

Yes! On the government website and the google form for school

@needadvice54321 you are meant to log them here:
www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result

TigerBeetle · 30/03/2021 21:34

Yes

DancesWithDaffodils · 30/03/2021 21:36

Yes, but logging a child's result is a pain in the arse, as I cant figure out how to make an account for him.

AyeRobot · 30/03/2021 21:37

Quite, Donatella. That's why I was surprised, but then not really. Surely lots of people are just doing the tests to see if there is a positive that they will get confirmed by PCR?

Maverickess · 30/03/2021 21:37

Do tests through work and yes, we have to log every result.
Manager keeps a record I think of all our test results, we use our own phone number but the work email so we and they have a record of the results. I keep mine for 4 weeks then delete.

AnaisNun · 30/03/2021 21:38

Yes- except for the day I accidentally threw out the test with the rubbish before I logged it.

I wasn’t going to dive into the soggy kitchen bin to retrieve it, so just let it be.

I think it’s a minor transgression

Erictheavocado · 30/03/2021 21:39

Yes. Gov.UK website and a separate notification to my headteacher. The instructions tell you to log your result, whatever the outcome. And not logging negative results buggers up the stats as the number crunchers can't work out the % positive vs negative tests if people don't log.

CompleteBarstool · 30/03/2021 21:39

Yes I log every one (also on our work website)

Stopsnowing · 30/03/2021 21:40

I didn’t know we had to.

KittyWoods · 30/03/2021 21:41

Yes we have.
