Give a vague area of where you live, or first part of postcode, and how much you pay for your smart pass. They seem to charge how much they think we will pay.

London, SE23 : £9.99 for an anytime pass. Customer for 10+ years.

Interesting - their FAQs for the Smart Pass now say "The full price of a standard Anytime Smart Pass is £8.99 per month". Think I'll email them to ask why I'm paying more that the "full price" .....

Just cancelled today and email says I can sign back up if I change my mind so maybe they are letting people do that who previously had one .

Just did a chat with Ocado to query the "full price" of the pass and they're refunding me the extra £1 I'm paying per month from now until the end of my contract - only £5 but better than nothing! So if you're paying more than the full price they will do something.

That is a bloody good point. I’d urge everyone on this thread who is paying more to do the same.

I only got the app back last week but didn't have to log in again then. Went on app this evening and was asked to log in. I'm wondering if they've done an update?

Also had to log in and got put in a queue last night!

Hmm, we pay £6.99 for a mid week pass! It was £2.99 for a while (3 months?) after I had tried to cancel. How long has it said £3.99 for? I will be emailing them now.

I'm actually REALLY pissed off with them now. The timeline, although I have mentioned it upthread:

I'm on a £3.99 midweek smart pass.
Ocado cock up and offer me a 6 month anytime pass to say sorry.
This ends is hoiked to £9.99 and Ocado refuse to return me to my original pass so I'm now paying for their goodwill gesture.
Last week I told them I was done if they wouldn't revert to my Midweek. They refused. I cancelled.
Made a complaint. Was told it was being looked at give them a couple of days. That was ten ago.
Today they announce the midweek smart passes are back.

I mean does CS even have half a clue what they are doing? Utter shit show.

I've been a customer for more than 10 years, anytime pass £2.99 live on the West Mids/ Worcestershire border.

I got really excited earlier as I had an email from Ocado asking me to fill in a survey. When I clicked on it it was just about their free magazine 🙁. Shame, as I was looking forward to getting all my complaints off my chest!

Oxfordshire. I pay £2.99 a month for an anytime pass.

I had a reply to my email

"I'm really sorry to hear your concerns about your smart pass.

Smart pass pricing is reviewed on a regular basis and the price present when you signed up is the one we will continue to charge as that is what you agreed to when you signed up.

I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."

Seems I've won my argument. They have agreed to revert me back to my midweek smart pass.

I'll still use Waitrose if I can but I'm happier at £3.99 a month than £9.99 a month.

I got an email inviting me to sign up for Ocado reserved.

According to customer services, it may have something to do with my pending order. Or not

I'm planning to go back to Ocado since Morrison's have said they are now picking products from store

But just got an email saying my delivery pass has auto renewed... hopefully I can cancel it

I was on a £9.99 pass - emailed them and now on £8.99. Not surprising they are increasing princes for members and not equally reducing them...

If delivery pass has auto renewed, then you can contact customer services and say that you were not warned of change of price in time not cancel, and they should let you cancel without penalty.

I did this, and they re-offered me the introductory offer of 3 months free followed by £6.99 for a year. And they attempted to reimpose the increase to £9.99 the same way the following renewal, and I got the offer again then. I think it must have been policy to just put the price up, on the grounds that most people don't complain

I should add that Ocado have now transferred me onto the £3.99 a month mid week smart pass and I could have changed to any of the now advertised prices.

Ocado have just called to say my smart pass is increasing from 2.99 to 8.99! 300% increase.

They said all promotional offer prices are going and everyone will be on 8.99.

Anyone else heard this?

Yes. That is what they told me. At least it will be consistent (but I won't be renewing mine).

It shows as £8.99 for me or £3.99 for mid week option so I would be tempted to do the midweek again but slots appear to be very limited still

My anytime is still £2.99

I wonder how they work it out. Cheaper in date as where there are more deliveries? Or less? Or more expensive in London and more affluent areas?

I had a Morrison's midweek one before for £35 a year so it's not much more than that.
