Christmas normal?

ParlezVousWronglais · 05/02/2021 18:54

Will we have a completely normal Christmas?

frozendaisy · 05/02/2021 18:58

OMFG.....

herecomesthsun · 05/02/2021 18:59

I think it depends what you mean by normal. I am really reluctant to book holidays abroad etc and also winter is peak respiratory virus season. It's hard to know what the situation will be in 11 months time with respect to mutations etc but having the vaccines as good as they are now is hopeful.

Ridcully82 · 05/02/2021 18:59

@frozendaisy

OMFG.....
Agreed
DumplingsAndStew · 05/02/2021 18:59

Hold on, I left my crystal ball in the other room...

AubergineDream · 05/02/2021 19:00

I really hope so but it is not taking up much headspace for me as I cannot think that far ahead. Most people I know are in a level of crisis right now, emotional/mental health, abusive relationships, financial hardship, suffering from long covid, etc. Many are grieving, too, covid losses and other losses. I love Christmas, but it may as well be a different planet right now

stillonthattightrope · 05/02/2021 19:01

Are you shitting me? It's 10 months away and we're not even allowed to meet a friend outside at the moment.
How the hell are we supposed to know what will happen at Christmas and more to the point, why do you care right now?

LucasLeesEyebrows · 05/02/2021 19:02

Yes definitely (disclaimer: I have no fucking clue)

EasterIssland · 05/02/2021 19:04

No my crystal ball says Christmas are cancelled until 2025

XenoBitch · 05/02/2021 19:06

Not even thinking about it!

ParlezVousWronglais · 05/02/2021 19:08

Skipsurvey · 05/02/2021 19:09

ParlezVousWronglais · 05/02/2021 19:09

EasterIssland · 05/02/2021 19:09

@ParlezVousWronglais never tells me the right euromillions numbers Smile
So it might actually be 2026

ParlezVousWronglais · 05/02/2021 19:12

Haha EasterIss

I did find myself wondering this question today. Perhaps I shouldn’t have shared.

I’m not sure what’s to be gained by speculating like this.

Here’s hoping it’s better than last Christmas anyway.

maddiemookins16mum · 05/02/2021 19:27

Stop, just stop.

Oh and get a grip once you’ve stopped.

Rosehip10 · 05/02/2021 19:30

SparkyTheCat · 05/02/2021 19:44

I get it OP, you want something to hold on and look forward to. We all do, but nobody else has a blooming clue either 🔮

cheninblanc · 05/02/2021 19:45

Can we get through February before we worry about December?!

Babyboomtastic · 05/02/2021 19:46

Ha. I don't know what will I be allowed to ask in a month, let alone 11, of them.

AnneElliott · 05/02/2021 19:47

Hopefully better than 2020 although possibly not back to 2019 celebrations.

Silvergreen · 05/02/2021 19:47

Hahahaha laughed out loud at this 😂

S111n20 · 05/02/2021 19:50

I hope so 🤞
