Just got asked about it on the presser.

He was fab in his response (as he is in most responses he gives)

Just said he's surprised it even made the media and got that far as it's just some young lad doing his thing.
And that he's sure he'll become a model citizen like Captain Tom one day and be someone who will lead people to do the right thing.

Someone was just taunting him about covid being false, false figures etc.

Cant remember exactly what was said and I don't have tic toc.

Prof Whitty just stood there ignoring him and his response today was just totally 'I'm not even going to give him time or headspace - I'm going to talk about someone important who did good'.

How old was the heckler? I’ve only heard of it and not seen the video.

Probably fairly young. Sounded young in the snippet I heard this morning on the news. But I was in the kitchen making my lunch for work so didn't see it.

That was a brilliant response by CW (I'd have been tempted to give the boy the middle finger, he's far classier than me).

I really hope the mother does make him do an apology.

I really like Chris Whitty. His tone has been so mature and considered throughout all this.

That poor mum. We've all wanted a hole to swallow us up over our children but fair play to her reaction. She sounds like a great mum.

To the poster who said Cw responses are considered. yes! That's the best response. He always explains but makes sure he's clear about what they do, if it's not that it's not true but rather they just don't know enough or where they are still looking for conclusive evidence.

Just watched Channel 4 News. Health Care Professionals are being abused online all the time by knuckledraggers who allege that the hospitals are empty and the HCPs are all in the pay of Big Pharma and on track to become infertile after having the vaccine. I'd have the empty-headed science deniers all sent to a deserted island offshore with no HCPs so they don't drag the NHS down by demanding treatment on falling ill after ignoring all warnings.

He doesn't work from No10 all the time, he is a consultant at a hospital as well. Didn't he work on the wards over Christmas
