Just got asked about it on the presser.

He was fab in his response (as he is in most responses he gives)

Just said he's surprised it even made the media and got that far as it's just some young lad doing his thing.
And that he's sure he'll become a model citizen like Captain Tom one day and be someone who will lead people to do the right thing.

As my ds would say - it was a total burn Grin

That boy needs taught some manners! Chris Whitty seems like an absolute gentleman, its horrible hearing about him getting verbally attacked in public.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 04/02/2021 00:00

She won’t ground him though because lockdown has hit him hard enough. Or maybe she doesn’t want him hanging around the house Hmm

This will follow that stupid kid for ages. I’m sure future employers will find it.

TableFlowerss · 04/02/2021 00:22

Chris Whitty is a class act. Hope that little twerp gets some ribbin from his peers for acting like the big man. Sit down you silly little boy

That's a good point.

I liked his response too, I noticed he didn't say anything unkind, unlike so many people.

Yes the boy was silly. But actually he didn't do much. Hopefully he'll reflect and learn his lesson.

Always worth remembering our very own Prime Minister was fired for lying so people can be wrong uns then achieve success, so there's hope for the boy yet!

I also think teenagers can be intelligent and utterly utterly foolish at the same time.

Iamtooknackeredtorun · 04/02/2021 06:52

The video upset me because it was so ignorant and mean. Against a man who has worked tirelessly to help the country by a ride child who probably shouldn't have been out during a lockdown in the first place.

I'm glad he wasn't bothered about it and his response sounds typically measured and dignified.

I absolutely love CW.

I also really like CW, it is nice to see someone act with dignity, and speak with clarity.
