Had the letter about booking on line, the nearest place to me is 30 miles away near London ! Wont be taking that up.

They add new slots regularly apparently. MIL was offered one 60 miles away the first time she tried which she didn't take up (!) so she went back on a day later and got offered one 5 miles away instead .

I think those who who qualify through employment status are invited through their employer rather than GP or the National website. My husband got an email from his employer with a link for use by care and NHS staff only.

It does link up with your NHS record, though, so he shouldn’t be invited again.
