Any over 80s still not heard about vaccine?

My dad is 81 and his surgery have said that they’re still waiting on an approved venue to use with the other surgeries in their PCN.
They haven’t even had a delivery of either of the vaccines yet?

I know of other people in the area that have had their second dose.

Any one else still waiting to hear?

My parents get theirs next week.

Update: DM(90) had a phone call on Thursday and had her jab this morning with her GP (15 mins in and out). DH's DParents (80's) had a phone call on Friday afternoon asking whether they could get to their surgery to use up some jabs.

I doubt we'll ever find out how the distribution of vaccines has been decided but I do hope GPs have prioritised the care homes (there seem to be some shocking outbreaks again when arguably many could/should have been vaccinated a month ago).

My parents (dad has cancer so shielding) got their appointments through for next month. No mention of the second vaccine date though, unlike DGM's letter. I was a bit surprised that my dad has to go to a public place for his (he's starting chemo again soon so will be vulnerable and should be staying home).

My Great Uncle in a care home had his last weekend, Great Aunt has had the text, but no slots available, Aunt and Uncle haven't heard yet.

4 different surgeries across 3 areas.
