If there was a guarantee life would get back to normal

No, and I have absolutely no time for anti vaxxers.

Chickenkatsu · 09/01/2021 20:24

Yes for people who work in care homes.

Hollybutnoivy · 09/01/2021 20:24

No.

Alfaix · 09/01/2021 20:24

I would want to know what percentage don’t want it first! Everyone I know is dying to have it.

Tiredmum100 · 09/01/2021 20:24

No. We are not living in a dictatorship

RenegadeMrs · 09/01/2021 20:25

No. I'm so far down the list if it were mandatory I'd never get one!

But in all seriousness, no. I have no time for anti-vaxxers but do believe you should have the ultimate say about what gets put in your body. No matter how wise or unwise that decision is.

Meredithgrey1 · 09/01/2021 20:25

No.

And I am totally in support of vaccines, and volunteered for the vaccine trials.

BamboozledandBefuddled · 09/01/2021 20:25

No.

BlueBaubles12 · 09/01/2021 20:26

No, and I think people who don’t have it without a good reason (i.e. medical reasons) are misguided and rather selfish. Ultimately up to them though.

WankPuffins · 09/01/2021 20:26

Absolutely not.

Lemonpiano · 09/01/2021 20:26

No.

onedayiwillmissthis · 09/01/2021 20:27

No.

meditrina · 09/01/2021 20:27

No

I think antivaxxers are misguided and dangerous, but I do not think any medical intervention, including vaccination, should be on the basis of anything but informed consent (from patient or parent, or someone acting in patient's best interests if incapable of giving consent - close kin or experienced doctor)

PoppiesinOctober · 09/01/2021 20:27

Nope

No

WankPuffins · 09/01/2021 20:27

@Chickenkatsu

Yes for people who work in care homes.
As if we don't get paid little enough as it is with no respect, we'd have to trade autonomy over our own bodies to keep our jobs.

Oh hang on - you sound like my old employer.

PicsInRed · 09/01/2021 20:28

Absolutely NOT.

And me and mine will be getting it.

emptyplinth · 09/01/2021 20:28

No.
Who would be giving the guarantee?

MushMonster · 09/01/2021 20:28

No, at the moment.
If later on it turns up that people who did not have the vaccine are passing it to others, leading to more mutations or similar, something that is proven to be against public health, then I would think about it.
I reckon a massive number of people will have it.

KitKat1985 · 09/01/2021 20:30

No. How would it really work anyway. Get the police to detain people and pin them down if they refused?

I do think that people who refuse the vaccination without valid medical reason, should be offered (but not forced) to sign an agreement declining medical treatment if they contract covid, or at least have a discussion and propose what they did want to happen if they contracted covid.

Cornettoninja · 09/01/2021 20:30

I suspect mandatory vaccination won’t be necessary and I don’t believe that it should be compulsory anyway.... although more and more I can see the appeal.

Vinorosso74 · 09/01/2021 20:30

No from me too. I can't be doing with anti vaxxers either but I don't want to live in a society where people don't have the right of choice.

ChocOrange1 · 09/01/2021 20:30
