It’s back under a new name “clap for heroes.”

No. Didn’t last time either.

I can barely muster the strength to open the door to the postman at the moment, let alone stand in the cold clapping.

Actually it's even worse..... it has been rebranded as "Clap for Heroes".

Not sure, probably not. It's now a complete piss take to nurses and NHS staff when they pay hasn't been increased and the gov have acted to late for the 3rd time. I personally think Boris should be clapping live on TV at 8pm and promise to pay staff what they are worth and promise to rebuild our NHS from the destitute they have turned it into throughout the years the tories have been in power.

Not this time, my clapping in the first lockdown was enough for me to make my point. Don't need to clap every week and I think there are too many heroes, could be clapping every day for them there's that many (teachers, parents, doctors, dentists, bus drivers, vets, shop workers, bin men, police, etc etc)

What I do is I DON'T vote for a political Party who will devalue them.
I DO vote for a political party I think will help with wages, training etc.

I just hope all the fireworks don't start up again or car honking just what everyone needs to frighten countless animal s*less like in March. Wasn't just clapping in my area, fireworks every thurs and the works. Probably injuring themselves in the process, what a thankyou

It would be better if people showed their support for frontline workers by following the fucking rules.

Why not just obey restrictions to the ' t' would be a better thing to do for our Frontline workers than clapping?

We live rurally and all of our neighbours oddly have at least one NHS/key worker in the household who all commented on it saying they appreciated it. It also was a way of the neighbours all coming out to say hello and checking on each other. If I was on a normal street with neighbours i don't know being a smarmy knob pretending clapping is saving lives, I'd close the blinds and stick cheese in my ears.

No it became ridiculous last time - my neighbours were doing it in order to socialise with one another (they couldn't have given a damn what they were clapping/taking music requests for).

I would, but we've moved house and it's a building site opposite. So nobody to 'clap' with, only 3 houses in our road have people in them!

We're clapping for key workers, which includes lawyers and accountants.
