831/100000 - South East Tier 4, and schools all open as usual :(

TheClitterati · 04/01/2021 21:44

Now up to 838. So it's still increasing despite lockdown, T4, closed schools for Christmas.

2 months ago our rate was 18!!!

Florabella · 05/01/2021 09:07

168 and rising but more slowly than areas around us at the moment.

Paddingtonthebear · 07/01/2021 16:41

Rocketing here, from around 86 per 100k just pre Xmas to 600 now

mrshoho · 07/01/2021 16:46

940 rising but slower. Hoping it's levelling off.

RingtheBells · 07/01/2021 16:53

347, East Northants, rest of Northants is a lot higher

pintsizeprincess · 07/01/2021 20:22

Rocketing here too. Worcs. Our town is now 540. Just last week it was 160.

itsgettingweird · 07/01/2021 20:38

Anyone see IOW Shock I'm mainland but they were tier 1, went straight to 3 and then lockdown.

They have over 900/100,000 now.

And all suddenly sprung up since Christmas (28th onwards testing date)

It's a really good example of transmission of this virus because they could mix up to 6 indoors right up until Boxing Day.

Not good for them obviously and is worrying with their hospital capacity.

Fembot123 · 07/01/2021 20:44

We've been over 1000 for a couple of weeks (SE), but the increase is slowing now so I'm hopeful its at least levelling off.

crocsonmyfeet · 07/01/2021 21:03

This is the local area of the hospital I work in. No wonder we have been completely overwhelmed with a tsunami of patients.

I think deaths will hit 2000 per day pretty soon.

RememberSelfCompassion · 07/01/2021 21:04

Its more than doubled where I live. It was a low rate area and has zoomed up to over 600 per 1000 in the space of a few weeks.

I'm quite anxious.

Redcrayons · 07/01/2021 21:14

995
The week before Christmas it was less than 200.
Wtf is going on?

Purplethrow · 07/01/2021 21:31

1069.6 per 100,000k for our town but 1346.5 for my actual post code . Hospital admissions are up by 15%

RememberSelfCompassion · 07/01/2021 21:45

Bloody Hell. That's more than 1 in 100 people confirmed isn't it? So likely to be much higher. If you think of just the families in your street or people in a school or sainsburys... gosh.
