Anyone else who believes in this Virus think it's going to be horrific and things will be much worse in the new year? People going all over the country, getting blind drunk etc etc... The majority of people even following the rules now will throw them out the window because they are so Covid Tired... Sad

@walksen you only need to look as far as this thread to see my point is valid. Several PP citing their mental health is struggling and someone comes along calls them self entitled and pathetic and "put their big girl pants on and get on with it" because their mental health struggles don't matter and anyone who cries out for some help or support for something is shouted down straight away

No one is saying covid doesn't matter of course it does but we are dismissive of any one else's struggles in the process

@SoloMummy sorry but you are so rude. You have no idea what this has been like for me. You obviously have never had mental health issues, a new baby, isolated and a pandemic at the same time. If people don’t care about me then I don’t care about them. Hey should I care if someone I don’t know gets covid when they obviously don’t care if I’m ill?

Pull your girl pants on and get a on with it

Wow. I feel like we've just stepped back 10 years when talking about mental health.

However those that die due to the continued spread of covid as a result of selfishness like shown on this thread will never recover their families will always mourn their loved one

Don't use the families of the dead ( like mine),to justify your rude comments to that poster, she has every right to feel how she does.

I wouldn't be surprised by anything people say now.

I've been treated like shit by randoms (almost physically at one point) as I can't wear a mask (just don't go there!), denied entry to the GP surgery, NHS shutdown so I've had zero support, or ability to contact anyone for help on my drugs (GP doesn't want to know, as they are managed and prescribed by the hospital) and they aren't exactly everyday drugs either.

So after being treated like shit, I'm certainly not considering others any longer apart from my family.

I’m not sure you ‘choose’ to have a mindset with mental health. Rather the ‘mindset’ takes over you.

Do people choose to have a broken leg or blue eyes?

@SoloMummy wow you are so nasty. What do you mean by ‘mental health’ issues? Do you not think they don’t exist or aren’t important? So many people are struggling and I’m sorry but unless you have had mental health illness you have no idea what it’s like. I have diagnosed conditions, it’s not made up. I may recover but then again I may not. Who are you to say it’s selfish for people trying to do what they can to get through this? Why is mental health not important enough to need help too?

And why would anyone in their right mind ‘choose’ to have a mental health mindset? Mental health issues are awful, scary and terrifying. I don’t think anyone ‘chooses’ that?Confused

And they are usually rooted in childhood when the plasticity of the brain is developing.

How do people ‘choose’ that?

wow, so much horribleness on this thread, especially some comments directed at someone who is mentally ill.

Yeah, I am worried about a January peak but also worried about a January lockdown with very little daylight or support for folks. It's a horrible situation, and it's so hard to see people fighting each other when both concerns are valid.
@User158340 exactly. Problem is that it will spread thanks to all those like Wild Barnet and that will spread to the vulnerable when they go food shopping, have deliveries etc etc
Sorry but this is such bollocks. Blaming a random poster for spreading it to others by “having deliveries”? I hate this “YOU’RE contributing to the spread by not thinking exactly how I do!!” mentality.

The bollocks is laughable. Trouble is, the people posting it believe the shit.
