Waiting times for test results

We are currently waiting for test results and I'm just wondering what peoples experiences have been lately time wise?

I was tested in the summer and got my results in about 12 hours (London).

How long did you wait and roughly where are you based?

I just bumped a thread from last week asking the same thing! I'm waiting for my son's results. It's over 24 hours now but we're up north where covid is apparently rife.

We're south east, got a result in 36 hrs last weekend

I was hoping to get them today but maybe tomorrow is more realistic.

We're waiting too. Test was done yesterday late morning.

I'm in NI had a test at 7.00 last night. Results by 8.30 this morning

Sept 40 hrs
Oct 35 hrs
Oct 5 days (postal)

My son had one Monday lunchtime and had results Tuesday lunchtime (in the East)

I get tested Mondays and usually have the results by Saturday.

Midlands on Tuesday, 48 hours

I got tested a week today, still waiting :-( SE Hemel Hempstead. I’ve phoned 119 after 5 days and it was escalated but told I just have to wait and to self isolate for 10 days. Really worrying that this is happening, it’s dangerous and very frustrating!

N.I. Had the test at 4pm on Monday and got the results at 8am the next morning.

NI seem pretty quick!

I was tested yesterday 8am, nothing yet so 36 hours. Worcestershire.

Tested 6pm yesterday, results 1pm today. Essex.

Oh that's very good! We are 27 hours in now and haven't heard anything.

We have done three tests
First beginning Sept 55 hours
Next Oct 48 hours
Nov 18 hours
North west

South east and about 48 hours.

I've just received DS's tonight after 30 hours. Hopefully you'll get yours soon OP.

I am in North East Scotland, it took 18 hours from test to result.

Posted test on Monday and received result Thursday lunchtime

Tested Monday at 9:30
Results Tuesday 6:18

Dh last month took three days.

We live in London.

Does anyone know if they only text results at ‘normal’ times?
Ie 7am-8pm or could they potentially text during the night?
