Leaving the nation hanging around for his words of wisdom is not going to boost his popularity.

Possibly issues still in getting agreed position with cabinet...resignation from someone?

WingingItSince1973 · 31/10/2020 18:05

Spotthedoggies · 31/10/2020 18:05

With any luck resignation from Boris!
iknowimcoming · 31/10/2020 18:06

Wineto Sir Sean, "peacefully in his sleep at his home in the Bahamas" classy to the end - RIP

Widebum · 31/10/2020 18:07

BBC has just shown a shot of number 10.

DD says ‘he’s in there now crying, maaaaamm I don’t want to.......’ 🤣

SpookyRhubarbYoghurt · 31/10/2020 18:07

@vera99

Row with Carrie , wine all over the place. Dom had a fist fight with Rishi , Gove on manoeuvres. Raab in tears sobbing in the corner. Whitty and Vallance having a shouting match at shadows. Probably.
This is it I think.
Aridane · 31/10/2020 18:08

@HokeyWokey

They will run out of experts banging on, on the news special if he doesn't hurry the fuck up.
😂
Phoenix21 · 31/10/2020 18:08

Maybe they are being stitched up after the earlier punch up 🤣🤣🤣

Some hilarious scenarios in this thread. Well needed during this stressful time. Some poor people will be waiting to find out whether or not they will work/earn this week 😢

mynameiscalypso · 31/10/2020 18:08

@MummyInTheNecropolis Pretty sure iggle piggle would make a far better PM tbh

wanderings · 31/10/2020 18:08

According to the BBC:

Steve Baker urges the public to "listen very carefully" to what Boris has to say.

Grin Grin Grin

Well, we would if we could!

@DownstairsMixUp

If the schools close its effectively fucked for most sen kids. My son has an ehcp and was pretty much left to his devices during the last one, he has fell behind so much because of the first one.
My DC is severely disabled with an echp since age 3. I understand. I really empathise with parents of disabled children. I've been there. My DC is in a care home now but my heart goes out to all those who really struggled last lockdown. You deserve all the support.
the80sweregreat · 31/10/2020 18:09

I think his trying to get Matt Hancock to go out instead. ' go on mate , you know you want to , they've all got it in for me..'

WingingItSince1973 · 31/10/2020 18:09

Meanwhile behind the scenes at BBC frantically looking for people to interview! 🤣

nearlynermal · 31/10/2020 18:09

Funny: pre 2020, words like "morally bankrupt", "disgrace" and "shame" would have felt a bit archaic and pompous. But every time I look at his bloated face they seem to come back.

Cwenthryth · 31/10/2020 18:09

It’s not how any of us expected to spend our Saturday. Life isn’t fair. They need to put their big boy pants on and get the fuck on with their jobs.

One of the education union chairs was just being interviewed on BBC so unless he had a group chat open in another window he’s not currently negotiating with anyone!

wanderings · 31/10/2020 18:09

Fucking idiot, keeping tens of millions of people waiting to see if they will fucking EARN anything next month.

The utter cunt has no shame.

Sandunesandseashells · 31/10/2020 18:09

I hope Rishi doesn’t resign but he’s the most likely against this move.

Dustysilkflowers · 31/10/2020 18:10

No news is good news!

I’m hoping there are strong arguments being had about not going in to lockdown.

lingle · 31/10/2020 18:10

“Ooh lovely, thanks lingle smile”

Just a few minutes of it and the quality of my life has already improved so much.

Idle thought -why did the Soviets allow such romantic stories about kings and queens?

I think the BBC newsreader is about to suggest we all put some ABBA on....

CanSomeoneElsePickMyName · 31/10/2020 18:10

anyone else feel really low about another lockdown. I'm hormonal too which isn't helping but I'm on the verge of tears. We will be ok luckily as we work for essential retail but facing the backlash of social distance rules, lack of products and limiting again is terrifying.

crankysaurus · 31/10/2020 18:10

I'd listen to an interview with Iggle Piggle right now (though Swan Lake is indeed a good interlude)

CaMePlaitPas · 31/10/2020 18:10

@the80sweregreat

Wonder if they are redrafting the speech... "Infamy! Infamy! They've all got it in for me!"

the80sweregreat · 31/10/2020 18:11

Dominic is busy writing his speech to try not use the words ' lockdown ' or ' we knew about this weeks ago ' or ' Sir Keir told me this might happen' ..
