I think we know Boris wouldn't be there unless he really had to be. But it was nice of him to acknowledge that.

Not sure anyone told him the right tone was sombre and serious. He's in full on drama party mode. At least Chris Whitty has the decency to sound worried.

Boring us to tears with the slides, instead of just getting to the point and telling us what we aren't allowed to do anymore.

The slides are bigger than what my TV can cope with so I can't see the ages.

It's like being starving at a wedding and having to sit through the speeches before getting fed. Could he not tell us what was happening and then explain with the slides to back up his decision.
