How long are people currently waiting for test results in London? My youngest ds had a test this afternoon, and need results ASAP obviously, so I know whether or not we need to self isolate

Obviously will until we get the result, and will if positive, but need an approximate timeline, I have 3 meetings this week...

From what I've read on here it varies. I'm still waiting I'm on 79 hours at the moment.

Elizabeth110100 · 17/10/2020 18:19

I'm in the east Midlands and we've been waiting 32 hours so far.

Feelingconfused2020 · 17/10/2020 18:21

East Anglia, 78 hrs and nothing. London is tier 2 so they may try and have a quicker turnaround maybe?

foxysocks · 17/10/2020 18:23

SW, 106 hours and still waiting

DragonLegs · 17/10/2020 19:49

Essex, 82 hours so far

MarjorytheTrashHeap · 17/10/2020 19:52

I dont know on waiting times- I was tested yesterday and hoping to hear tomorrow, but if he was tested for showing symptoms you need to isolate anyway until you get the test result.

30not13 · 17/10/2020 21:15

twolittleboysonetiredmum · 17/10/2020 21:32

Hersetta427 · 17/10/2020 22:19

My daughters took 4 and a half days. I chased it after 3 days and they said they would track it down and I had it back 4 hrs later.

MMM2 · 17/10/2020 22:20

North East....test posted Tuesday, still no result.

Hersetta427 · 17/10/2020 22:20

Sorry that should be 3 and a half days - fat fingers !

CarlottaValdez · 17/10/2020 22:23

Posted mine Thursday, not heard yet.

I don’t have symptoms so I’m not isolating it’ll be really weird if I suddenly get a positive result while I’m in Sainsbury’s or something.

ShivD · 17/10/2020 22:37

70 hours for us, drive through test centre near Heathrow.

Rosehassometoes · 17/10/2020 22:40

ohidoliketobe · 17/10/2020 22:41
