Results waiting times

How long are people currently waiting for test results in London? My youngest ds had a test this afternoon, and need results ASAP obviously, so I know whether or not we need to self isolate

Obviously will until we get the result, and will if positive, but need an approximate timeline, I have 3 meetings this week...

From what I've read on here it varies. I'm still waiting I'm on 79 hours at the moment.

I'm in the east Midlands and we've been waiting 32 hours so far.

East Anglia, 78 hrs and nothing. London is tier 2 so they may try and have a quicker turnaround maybe?

SW, 106 hours and still waiting

Essex, 82 hours so far

I dont know on waiting times- I was tested yesterday and hoping to hear tomorrow, but if he was tested for showing symptoms you need to isolate anyway until you get the test result.

Friend is on day 5 no results

I never got my results!

We took our daughter to a drive thru and that was 24 hours a few weeks ago. I did a postal one last Saturday and still waiting!

Posted on Monday, still nothing. Mind you, I didn't take a note of the tracking number so fuck knows what's happened to it

Just an update. I'm.about 45 mins from London in the east. Just had my result after 80 hrs.

My daughters took 4 and a half days. I chased it after 3 days and they said they would track it down and I had it back 4 hrs later.

North East....test posted Tuesday, still no result.

Sorry that should be 3 and a half days - fat fingers !

I don’t have symptoms so I’m not isolating it’ll be really weird if I suddenly get a positive result while I’m in Sainsbury’s or something.

70 hours for us, drive through test centre near Heathrow.

NW- posted yesterday and results within 24 hours... I was shocked

had my test at 11.30 yesterday and results came back this afternoon- family member came 4 hours later. Yorkshire

I waited 4 days and they’ve just come back inconclusive, I need to do it again
