BBC says afternoon and it’s PMQs first at 12pm and a debate on the Act at some point. Going to be an interesting day...

What time is it tomorrow?

Just keep an eye on the bbc news twitter feed, as soon as they show the front pages of tomorrow's papers we'll know what the briefing tomorrow is about. They seem to like to pre-announce their announcements.

They seem to have said it's just an update rather than any sort of announcement. More about figures

I'm guessing that there won't be any major changes - they are usually all over the media the day before when there is....

Looks like just a general clarification on the restrictions in place as his messages today have been pretty shoddy and a warning that things don't look great at the moment

i dont understand why people needed further clarification. it was announced on the news last night and then today you have people saying they dont understand!
the dont want to understand more like,

probably on at 4.30 - 5 pm

Out-of all the of them, the only one I remotely trust is whitty.

It’s been pointed out to me by someone in the banking sector that we should expect more restrictions after end Sept because then the government will have had a full quarter’s figures once lockdown restrictions had been lifted to stave off the idea that the company’s spiralling into recession..

we learnt that despite north east and others having supposed high infection there are higher cases being admitted to ICU in London.
Londoners are therefore not able to get tested, something I heard Mayor saying.

Yep. Just like last time, they want to downplay and deny London's situation. Sadiq Khan is doing his best to fight for Londoners but he's being undermined by the government.

Meanwhile why is Teeside not included in the NE protection measures? Cases are increasing there.
