Is anyone actually still behind the Prime Minister?

I don't think he has handled the pandemic as well as he could tbh and i've noticed the tide turning on here recently very much against him. The right wing media are really getting restless with Boris as well and of course the left are sticking the knife in.

I think a lot of people cut him loads of slack because it was an unprecedented situation and then he got really ill himself (I don't think his 'shake hands with the virus' attitude was sensible either) which set the government back in their response. Then he was let down by his main advisor which has eroded confidence in his administration.

How can Boris get a hold of this and the government approach to Covid and get everyone back on side again? 9 months ago he won one of the biggest landslides ever, to huge fanfare. It's a bit of a downfall at the moment, he still has a chance to recover it.

Boris needs to unite the country again.

Mockery didn't have any effect on Cummings

They think the public have short memories. I haven’t forgotten “we can turn this around in twelve weeks”, or even “there are weapons of mass destruction”, or “Blair awards himself a 50% pay rise”. Does anyone remember that (2001)?

Danny Kruger MP travelled without a mask. Hypocrisy? It will only take one more Cummings whitewash or similar for there to be mass revolt. Saint Boris needs the public on his side; he has to be careful.

So yesterday I was on here saying 'Of course we need to take personal responsibility for our actions but the Government need to lead by example.'

Today we find out Carrie and the latest Johnson infant are on their hols in the Italian lakes. She's had her babyshower, Wilfred's christening, her family trip to Scotland and now her pals trip to Italy. They've really reined themselves in this year as Boris asks everyone else to make sacrifices!

Gove is still behind the PM
... with a knife

BJ will be the scapegoat for the Brexit fuckups and the Covid fuckups too

Cummings will sneak in Gove and hope most Tory MPs won't notice until too late

Yes but Cummings is a sociopath. He doesn't give a shit about what people think about him - or anything - as long as he gets his own way.

Johnson wants hugs, and to be the life and soul, and everyone to think he's as great and wonderful as his nanny obviously convinced him to think he is.
