How long have people waited over the past week or so?

I think it’s about 3 days, from a quick skim I did earlier.

Home test done Saturday result received following Thursday pm so 5 days.

3 and a half days (tested last Sunday)

Friday afternoon test. Still waiting.
Ds can’t go to school tomorrow without a negative test.

2 days but it was done as an inpatient (non covid) so not sure if that makes a difference

we were lucky it seems, had to do 2 tests on separate days for separate children as both had quite high temps 2 days apart.
Both done in the morning and both back at 2am the next morning.

2.30pm Friday afternoon test, got results at 6.30am this morning. Sadly for DD we had to retest today, so now waiting again! They told us today it could be up to a 72hr wait for results.

20 hours on Thursday for us.

Took and posted my home test on Monday, it got to them on Tuesday and I got the result on Thursday night.

Tested at drive through centre 8am Tuesday, results back 8pm Wednesday

Tested Friday lunchtime. Still waiting and getting quite impatient. I don’t know who to contact to chase the results.

Last weekend I had the result in 20 hours!

Postal test Friday sent back, arrived Saturday early morning.. still not results!

Saturday 2pm test. Woke to result this morning (it was sent at 00.07 not long after we went to bed having spent a failed 1 hr 45 on hold to 119 to see if we could get the result over the phone (keyworker needing to know if I could work today!).

Less than 24 house for a drive-through.

Home test arrived with the lab at 10am on Friday. Result still not back.

Approaching 48 hours and no result yet...

5 days after posting the test.

@nothingtralala same boat here. Test hit the lab Friday am but nothing yet.

Test ordered Monday, completed as soon as arrived. Back with the lab Wed morning. One result in 60 hrs, other in 82 hrs.

I tested thursday morning at drive thru site and still nothing. I waited on hold for over an hour to chase up yesterday, I explained that I have an important hospital appointment this week so need the results, I’ve been told it has been escalated but still nothing.

Still no result, nearly 3 days now.

I have got an email address for anyone who wants to complain about the system. It won’t make the results come any quicker, of course.

How do you know when the postal tests have arrived? I sent mine off Saturday but haven’t heard anything about it? I’m expecting the results to take ages though

If you have the tracking number (might be barcode number) from the parcel you can track it on the Royal Mail website.
