Test results through the night?

Toddlermum1990 · 31/08/2020 22:43

Anyone who has had a test via a drive through have you had results throughout the night?

I had a test Sunday morning and awaiting results I suffer with anxiety and haven't slept last night and currently pacing. I've refreshed my emails about a million times today. I've got cold like symptoms but have a temperature so not sure if it is covid or not but my husband is more poorly than me. (Coughing)

I dont even know why I'm posting this as I know it won't get the results any quicker!!

I haven't had a test but I do know a couple of people that had their results about 6am in the morning.

I hope you get your result soon. Is there anything that you can do that would help take your mind off things & help relax you? Reading, watching something on TV etc?
Regardless of whether your result is positive or not, you're going to need your strength to get better. Which means you need to sleep.

Northernsoullover · 31/08/2020 22:48

Some people are getting messages at 6am. Did you register for the text reply?

DracoDormiens · 31/08/2020 22:49

Got my results 4am. They do send a text though xx

PurpleDaisies · 31/08/2020 22:50

Mine came at 6am.

PurpleDaisies · 31/08/2020 22:50

Should have said, I got both a text and an email. I opted for both when I booked the test online.

Michellebops · 31/08/2020 22:52

My partner got his test at 1pm Sunday and got the results at 8.20 this morning.

Toddlermum1990 · 31/08/2020 22:52

They have my number and email address so not sure which they'll do.

I'm supposed to be working from home at 7 am too, so need to try to sleep.

So annoying having anxiety cause I feel breathless then worrying its covid but know deep down its anxiety.

Currently watching TV but still can't stop bloody checking my phone.

I got a text today very quickly followed by an email. Tested Sunday afternoon and results sent late evening. Good luck. It's hard to sleep waiting for results isn't it?

gurglebelly · 31/08/2020 23:06

Yep got ours by text and by email at 00.07

MarkRuffaloCrumble · 31/08/2020 23:10

I got one 36 ish hours later at 2am and the next test I had at 8pm and got the result at 10am the next day. Both negative.

MarkRuffaloCrumble · 31/08/2020 23:11

I got them both by text and email.

Try not to worry - it’s highly unlikely you have it, but I know it’s easy to say that Flowers

AriettyHomily · 31/08/2020 23:55

I had a test last Sunday at 11am, results 2300 the next day. I think Sunday delays things.

ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN · 01/09/2020 00:02

This weekend my test result was a little slower (about 16 hours)

Most test result have been around 12-13 hours and that’s taken late on the afternoon/early morning evening Apart from earlier on then around 24hrs

Have got tests results on the way to work so about 7-730

justwinginglife1 · 01/09/2020 00:10

Brother in law got tested sunday morning, he got the results the following morning at 3am

Toddlermum1990 · 01/09/2020 06:52

Still nothing but luckily managed to get a couple of hours last night, seem to be feeling a bit better which is good. Hopefully I'll receive a message today! Thanks for all your replies

I got mine at 9pm Monday following a test at 1pm on the Sunday.

NothingIsWrong · 01/09/2020 06:57

My daughter had one 4.30pm yesterday, anxiously waiting here as well!

Swimmingwiththebees · 01/09/2020 08:13

I had a test at 3.30pm Saturday and got the results back at 8am Sunday. DP did it at the same time and got his result at 3am Sunday morning. The wait between the two was the most anxious for me. Both were negative

Toddlermum1990 · 01/09/2020 08:53

Yeah the wait is agonising. Im worrying now its positive and that's why its taking longer, cause track and trace may be calling us?

My mums in my bubble and is high risk, ive social distanced from her still but that's whats making me worry.

Dh was tested at 3.30pm on the sunday and had the results at 7am on the Monday

But another friend was tested at the hospital and her results weren’t through 3 days later

Spied · 01/09/2020 09:01

Results would come through when ready regardless of track and trace.
Anxiety is the pits I know. Flowers

Baileyscoffeeandcampfires · 01/09/2020 09:12

Tested at drive through 11am on a Sunday.

Text result came in at 4am Monday

yarncakes · 01/09/2020 09:25

When I went to a drive thru, got tested at half 12 in the afternoon, results came at half 9 am the following morning. I know it is worrying but chances are you don't have it. Keeping fingers crossed for you x

Frazzled2207 · 01/09/2020 09:32

Hope you get it soon. Mine came in about 21hours, result at lunchtime.

NothingIsWrong · 01/09/2020 10:02

Ours came through negative about an hour ago. 17 hours from test to result.
