(Actually, a friends mum...but I don't actually know her so not sure if that counts?)

DuchessMinnie · 30/08/2020 22:32

About 30 (work in healthcare). 2 died, 1 hospitalised but ok now and maybe 10 who didn't have any symptoms.

Orangecake123 · 30/08/2020 22:32

1 person who died.
A girl I went to primary school's father.
My mother's best friends' daughter.
My best friends' father, brother and mother. (both her brother and father are doctors).

6 people. I'm in London.

TheKeatingFive · 30/08/2020 22:32

2 of whom were in their late 80s, in nursing homes, who died.

2 others 30s/40s who were sick for a couple of weeks but made full recoveries.

LocalHobo · 30/08/2020 22:32

3 from one household- positive antibody test results, the only symptom was loss of smell in 2 and no symptoms with the 3rd.
I also know 2 who have sadly died, both were elderly in care homes.

DonnatellaLyman · 30/08/2020 22:33

Tons but I’m a doctor. Luckily everyone I know personally is alive, but I do know people who have lost relatives, and indirectly I know of colleagues who have lost their lives.

Smallinthesmoke · 30/08/2020 22:33

I could name at least 8 or 10 people (in my very extended circle ie including family of neighbours, workmate's father etc- only a small no direct contact with me) who had a mystery flu at the start of/ mid March, and three more formally diagnosed after that. And two deaths (elderly).
Quite surprised by the low numbers being quoted!
I walked past a protest in Leicester Square yesterday of people denying coronavirus exists Confused

1 confirmed case who is a colleague... no one else caught it miraculously, (and luckily) seeing as we work in a huge busy supermarket.

Peaseblossom22 · 30/08/2020 22:36

I only know of one confirmed case . Although dh knows a couple more . Definitely under 5 in total though

Whydididothatfuckingthing · 30/08/2020 22:36

2 Who died
A single mum and sadly all 3 of her young children are now in care.
A 40 year old man who was a gym addict.
All so, so sad.

Loads unconfirmed who think they’ve had it.

fafffaffmorefaff · 30/08/2020 22:37

4 - positive test. My mum 59, remained asymptomatic, my aunt 55 mild fever for one day and then ok. My uncle 60 heart patient, mild fever for few days, anxiety issues but overall well. My cousin 51 asymptomatic ... all tested negative now.

BeingLonely · 30/08/2020 22:38
  1. 2 sadly passed (severe underlying health conditions) and 1 I know still has severe breathing issues today and she caught it in March. The rest were all very minor symptoms and thankfully are all back to full health now.

  1. A friend's elderly father who was tested when leaving hospital with a broken leg. He had no symptoms and a test a while later was negative.

I hope everyone who knows no one who has had it continues to know no one with it.

My sympathies with all of the losses posted.

WellIWasInTheNeighbourhoo · 30/08/2020 22:42

Several families, 2 tradesmen, 2 people at work, 4 families at school. And us. Horrible taken me months to recover from. Ive noticed that the first person who catches it in the family is ok, but then subsequent members get really sick, think its related to viral load.

@Beebityboo

I know eight people who died Sad (Was a carer and had to leave just before lockdown) still a bit traumatised by it really. The protests about it all being a hoax make me want to scream.
How awful. Sending best wishes
Grapesoda7 · 30/08/2020 22:45

I don't know anybody that's had it.

Remmy123 · 30/08/2020 22:46

2 both had no symyoms (had tests due to the job they do)

I work in London and live just outside
