Alice Cummings is not (as far as I can see) Dominic's sister, she went to a state school in London according to LinkedIn, which is difficult to do when your parents live in Durham. Apparently his sister is called Francesca.

You are talking as if everyone has a death wish. Government guidance is always based on the assumption that people have common sense.

Coronavirus poses next to no threat to the majority of the population. If people exercise common sense, their policy falls to pieces.

Which it now has, it seems.

Many civil servants have a huge amount of power. That’s the way it works.

Which civil servant previously, ever, in the last 100 years, had as many cabinet MPs (> 15) & the PM staunchly defending them in a similar situation, insisting the civil servant had to stay part of the national UK govt advisor team, to the point of twisting the rules as everyone understood them retrospectively & swiftly changing (deleting) govt advice, videos, tweets etc. that ever suggested the actions & behaviour could be unlawful.

I only ask to learn about one such civil servant that was not DC. ONE.

A few people have said that she’s his sister. There isn’t any evidence one way or the other online atm but we will find out.
It’s an opinion I made based on what I have heard.

I’m more worried about where all this trove of Data that Cummings is accumulating is going to end up.
Hancock wanted to flog it to Carbyne 911 which has dodgy Saudi, Russian and Chinese shareholders involved in their respective citizen monitoring schemes which are very Invasive and punitive.
It seems like Cummings is keen to develop similar Invasive surveillance and data harvesting in the IK?

@Ulver those few were wrong, she's not his sister. She grew up in London not Durham - which we all now know is 260 miles away!

@MakingASilkPurse 😂 brexit though? And this latest debacle. I’m sure he timed the press conference 2.5hrs before the shopping announcement so it was easily moved down the news schedule.

He must be held accountable, like the Scottish minister and scientist who were forced to resign by the right wing press for arguably less risky behaviour.
