Irritation by the questions from public and journalists looks like a new post-Covid complication, at least Johnson and Hancock did develop it.

itsgettingweird · 27/05/2020 19:20

Thanks quartz

I've just gone into they work for you.
Shock my MP is more of a vile little witch than I realised.

But it shows why when I begged for help for my ds with regards disability and academy school a few years ago she ignored me then as she is now.
She probably also knows I live in HA with secured tenancy and cheap rent. Both of which she also voted against! (She gets my address from emails)

I will try her again though. I will at least record my discuss that Boris will not even clarify that if we are told to isolate if we can travel to somewhere for childcare should we need it. I'll ask her what I should do.

Spotsonmyapples · 27/05/2020 19:21

@Inkpaperstars Yup. It would also leave the healthcare systems near people's second homes/country estates/concrete block/magical mythical childcare utopia open for use by those outside the population which is not the best strategy...

Ipadipod · 27/05/2020 19:24

@BamboozledandBefuddled , it’s all a bit of a muddle isn’t it?

itsgettingweird · 27/05/2020 19:26

It's feeling like this is more about control than public health.

What is the point of 28 days? Seriously?

itsgettingweird · 27/05/2020 19:49

I've just been on they for you and sent my MP this message.

Please clarify this point for me.

If I am contacted to say I’ve had come into contact with someone who has contracted COvid 19.

Can I travel to family a distance away To isolate there in case I need childcare?

I have specific childcare needs for my son who is disabled.

It is actually true. And I do think we have a right to know if this is ok.

Because if it actually isn't then their defence falls into nothing.

FuckThisWind · 27/05/2020 19:54

Well I've missed a few bits in the last hour or so. I had a supermarket delivery an hour ago which was 6 crates full (for 4 people - shielding) they had run out of bags so it was all loose and I had to unpack it all myself. I had an asthma attack and the delivery driver could do nothing. The delivery came from the store I usually work in. I'm expected back w/c 14 June. I was in tears and grabbing items wildly and also my inhaler, struggling to breathe, wheezing and coughing. Apologising to the driver saying I haven't got Covid. It's 'just' my asthma honestly. This whole thing is a fuckimg shambles. I'm trying to shield my mother with cancer whilst also being vulnerable myself. If only I had a father with an estate and siblings who could drop shopping off for me. I don't even have the benefit of having another parent. I'm responsible for myself, my child and my Mum and Dad. Fucking livid. Now that I have just about recovered. I shook for a full hour afterwards.

DoveOfPiss · 27/05/2020 19:59

Also, I noted Matt Hancock saying "it's your civic duty" not "ours"... it's the little things

slimy little weasel.

DoveOfPiss · 27/05/2020 20:02

@FuckThis Flowers hope you're feeling better soon x

itsgettingweird · 27/05/2020 20:04

Fuck Thanks hope you have a good nights sleep and your asthma improves

GrimmsFairytales · 27/05/2020 20:06

Oh yes, they're very good at saying it's your as apposed to it's our, they do it all the time.

I doubt any of them will be downloading the app.

FuckThisWind · 27/05/2020 20:07

Thanks. I'm sure it will. My delivery driver was very diplomatic. But when I told him I worked there, he let off a tirade of frustration. Supermarkets are trying to provide too many slots and they can't keep up. No PPE and can't help those they are delivering to etc.

1forsorrow · 27/05/2020 20:13

Hope you are OK Fuck. Sounds really scary.

Inkpaperstars · 27/05/2020 20:36

Inkpaperstars · 27/05/2020 20:37

OK it's Brew!

effingterrified · 27/05/2020 20:43

FuckThisWind - hope you are feeling better now. Is there anyone who can give you support? That sounds absolutely draining.

Nquartz · 27/05/2020 20:53

On the guardian coverage of the presser they put 'we' in inverted commas when quoting Matty talking about civic duty so it's not just us that's noticed Angry

Roussette · 27/05/2020 21:08

Fuck that sounds awful. Hope you feel better soon.

HeIenaDove · 27/05/2020 21:20

Any other garunteed supporters.

James Not So Cleverly

HeIenaDove · 27/05/2020 21:46

Will lower "class" areas be isolated more than the upper "class " areas?
I suspect I already know the answer

itsgettingweird · 27/05/2020 21:52

I think Suella.
I would tell you but she's ignoring all my emails. As she's done before.
Clearly me asking her questions or for help does t meet her worthy of her time scale.

JackiFazaki · 27/05/2020 21:52

@'FuckthisWind that's a shit thing to go through. What a sodding mess this is. Flowers

AlohaMolly · 27/05/2020 21:55

HeIenaDove · 27/05/2020 21:56
