ANY normal parent would try driving on their own in that situation. Not take their wife and child. And you wouldn't drive to a local beauty spot - you'd go far away from other people.

I don't understand why they are letting the journos do this.

He said he fell sick on 28th March, and according to Wakefield's report on the 6th day he was lying in bed and should have been in hospital, but the 6th day was April 3rd and he's now telling us he was driving to the hospital?

I'm calling utter bollocks on all of this.

Isn't the whole point of stay at home that you don't transport vectors of infection 250 miles away?

And why couldn't he and his wife look after a 4-year-old? Lots of us look after many children whilst ill with the virus and with partners also ill with the virus.
