Thread three for following the uproar at playing down the lock down and rewriting the rules.

love this one too! Who is she ?

1forsorrow · 25/05/2020 17:17

I think I'm having a panic attack.

greenlynx · 25/05/2020 17:18

So his child couldn’t make 26 mile trip to Barnard Castle without going to the toilet but managed 260 miles trip from London without it.

Also he drove to Barnard Castle first not to London straight away because he’s unsure that he’s fit to drive?????? DVLA’s rules are clear : don’t drive if you are not fit.
He’s more fool that I thought.

vera99 · 25/05/2020 17:18

This is just all getting a bit bizarre now.

GrimmsFairytales · 25/05/2020 17:19

But you did call 999, your son was taken to hospital in an ambulance, remember...

itsgettingweird · 25/05/2020 17:19

Who is this lady - she's brilliant! Where is she from.

LifeMatters · 25/05/2020 17:19

One question for all of you: have you really followed the lockdown rules 100% ?

Nobody knows who you are so you can be honest!

Unfortunately for D.C. he is a public person and people are very quick to criticise. Who are we to judge?

vera99 · 25/05/2020 17:19

MOVE OVER PRINCE ANDREW WE HAVE A NEW WINNER !

ParkheadParadise · 25/05/2020 17:19

Someone needs to ask about the son feeding him ribena

GrimmsFairytales · 25/05/2020 17:19

So his child couldn’t make 26 mile trip to Barnard Castle without going to the toilet but managed 260 miles trip from London without it.

I said similar earlier on, how convenient.

SouthWestmom · 25/05/2020 17:19

Haha! The guidance says to ask other people for help.

1forsorrow · 25/05/2020 17:19

He's so brilliant, such a wonderful strategist but it didn't occur to him to see if anyone in London could help him.

alreadytaken · 25/05/2020 17:19

I've not angry because of the media reports, I've always doubted the idea that he's done this more than once.

He's obviously spent time dreaming up a story he thinks can explain all those places he was seen where there is undeniable evidence. No need to worry about the hospital, though, they wont break patient confidentiality. Of course there could be cameras on the war there though.

Keeps everyone waiting, fails to apologise = still angry about Boris's response and this very blatant undermining of what were perfectly clear statement. "Stay at home" doesnt mean drive hundreds of miles away.

vera99 · 25/05/2020 17:20

Why did they let him do this??

Saucery · 25/05/2020 17:20

Oh give over, LifeMatters. I did 2 walks instead of 1 a few days. How does that compare with this situation?

effingterrified · 25/05/2020 17:20

Yup, snowballer .

Doing a Prince Andrew.

Tosser.

He's brought his nieces into the family saga now. We've had the works - parents for childcare, sister for childcare, uncle died, now the nieces have suddenly been dragged in.

vera99 · 25/05/2020 17:21

He's lying about the petrol.

onemorecupofcoffeefortheroad · 25/05/2020 17:21

This is as cringe as the Prince Andrew interview

itsgettingweird · 25/05/2020 17:21

So he didn't think he should bring family or friends locally into a covid house.

What like the rest of us would have had to do in the same situation - because we stayed at home.

StealthPolarBear · 25/05/2020 17:21

1forsorrow assuming youre light hearted, jump in your car an dsee your nearest and dearest!
If you're serious, sit down, breathe and drink, hope you're OK x

Humphriescushion · 25/05/2020 17:21

So he got a call to say his wife was ill, rushed home to see her, then went back to downing st?

LifeMatters · 25/05/2020 17:21

It compares as you broke lockdown rules...that's what it is about isn't it???

1forsorrow · 25/05/2020 17:21

Unfortunately for D.C. he is a public person and people are very quick to criticise. Who are we to judge? I don't know anyone, including me, who has gone on a long drive when they thought they had covid symptoms. I've been in lockdown for 10 weeks, the worst you can throw at me is I spoke to my GC in the garden when they brought me shopping. So yes I think I am entitled to judge.

vera99 · 25/05/2020 17:21

"It's a five hour trip...I can't remember if we stopped"

greenlynx · 25/05/2020 17:22

Who is this chap?
