If the government restrictions stayed in place?

So until May 2022.

Certainly not and it’s not going to happen!!

Spodge · 14/06/2020 18:00

No. Absolutely not.

FruitPastillesaregood · 14/06/2020 18:01

No, not a chance in hell.

Oblomov20 · 14/06/2020 18:05

No. Had enough now.
I want my ds's back at school.

Isn't today the lowest death count of 36?

Only 223 people have died in our county. That number of people would have died anyway in any year apparently!

TabbyMumz · 14/06/2020 18:19

I could do it, yes.

whiteblue · 14/06/2020 18:33

I have a friend who has already planned to do this with her husband. She's 60, he's 69. They are absolutely petrified of catching CV19.
I try and understand her thought process, it's her choice. But I think they're over thinking the negatives.

AgentCooper · 14/06/2020 18:42

Fuck no. Why?? The virus would still exist after 2 years but nobody would have any immunity.

ktp100 · 14/06/2020 19:05

Yes, if it was necessary to save thousands of lives.

So many selfish twats though, plus a spineless monkey for a PM who's being badgered to get everyone back to work by his rich mates who won't be working but want you and I to so they can make more money.

It won't happen, even if thousands more do die.

CoronaIsComing · 14/06/2020 19:08

Hell no. Not a chance. I’d move to a country that wasn’t in lockdown and still had an economy.

BadAlice · 14/06/2020 19:14

No and quite frankly the social consequences in terms of mental health, domestic violence and child abuse, child development, and I’m sure a whole array of other things I can’t think of right now, would cause more death and devastation than CV could.

Inkpaperstars · 14/06/2020 19:36

Just out of interest, I have skimmed but not time to RTFT....did your thread get this far without ever defining what you mean by lockdown OP? Grin I know it's really hard. Lockdown means lockdown.

annabel85 · 14/06/2020 20:20

I could do because being locked down is the easy part. The hard part will be the economic fall out of lockdown and the damage is worse each day we're locked down. It shouldn't have been 3 months and it should have been earlier before it got out of hand.

Millions are going to be unemployed.
