If the government restrictions stayed in place?

So until May 2022.

I wouldn't be happy because I miss working but if it was needed then I'd do it.

Fairylillie · 13/05/2020 12:05

If it stops myself or my family from dying, yes.

OneOfTheGrundys · 13/05/2020 12:06

Simple answer? Yes. As long as I could continue working.

Utterlydespairing · 13/05/2020 12:06

No way

Bellabelles · 13/05/2020 12:06

No, absolutely not

YgritteSnow · 13/05/2020 12:07

Yes.

TheCanterburyWhales · 13/05/2020 12:07

If it stops needless deaths, then yes.

cathyandclare · 13/05/2020 12:07

Absolutely not. For that length of time I think that the vulnerable and elderly should be protected, but everyone else (under 65, no significant underlying conditions) would have to work and live.

BirdieFriendReturns · 13/05/2020 12:08

Where do people draw the line? 3 years? 5 years? 10 years? Forever?

OP posts:
campion · 13/05/2020 12:08

No. It's not going to happen.

BlossomCat · 13/05/2020 12:08

No. Currently furloughed, and my depression is creeping back. Life is all a bit pointless at the moment.

Levatrice · 13/05/2020 12:08

Won’t happen

AlecTrevelyan006 · 13/05/2020 12:09

It’s a no from me

HairyFloppins · 13/05/2020 12:10

No!

DominaShantotto · 13/05/2020 12:10

No.

Baaaahhhhh · 13/05/2020 12:10

No. I wouldn't be prepared to sacrifice the younger generation for the old. Sorry, that's just how I feel. Actually, it is also how my elderly relatives feel as well.

Applesandpears23 · 13/05/2020 12:11

Yes.

SkelingtonArgument · 13/05/2020 12:12

No chance. And there’d be no money to pay for the NHS if we did that. More people would die of non covid related illnesses

Utterlydespairing · 13/05/2020 12:12

What about the deaths from lockdown? There will be far more and we need the economy up and running

LilaGrace · 13/05/2020 12:12

No. Definitely not.

Utterlydespairing · 13/05/2020 12:13

And how would we pay for the NHS?

LajesticVantrashell · 13/05/2020 12:13

No. But it's a moot point anyway because it's not going to happen.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 13/05/2020 12:13

No! There’s little point in living to be locked inside for 2 years- won’t happen though

LisaSimpsonsbff · 13/05/2020 12:14

Absolutely not. I think the effect on my DS, and his whole generation, would be appalling and lifelong. He'd go from 20 months to nearly four - and in theory about to start school - without playing with another child or seeing anyone other than us, and the damage from that would be irreparable.

It's not going to happen, though!

Idontwanna · 13/05/2020 12:14

No
