If you could ask for 1 restriction to be lifted tonight what would it be?

TK Maxx to open. That's it. That's all that I want.

RaggieDolls · 10/05/2020 18:47

Definitely schools for me. My DD loves school and is missing it so much. We are doing our best with home school but she cries at least a few times a week about how much she misses school.

I'd give up anything at all for as long as was needed if she could just go to school.

HouseTornado · 10/05/2020 18:50

@BeyOnceBeyTwice Flowers

Schools, please, for all the reasons already mentioned.

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 10/05/2020 18:51

Hairdresser please!

Wheresthebeach · 10/05/2020 18:52

Meeting with people outside household and outdoor sport...please.

Mummyoflittledragon · 10/05/2020 18:53

Operating theatre so I can have surgery. Not lighthearted.

weebarra · 10/05/2020 18:53

To see my mum and dad and brother. Next week it'll be a year since my younger sister killed herself and I just want to hug them. We speak every day via portal which is fab but I really miss them.

Nettleskeins · 10/05/2020 18:55

No restriction on meeting people outdoors in open air.

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 10/05/2020 18:56

I’d love to see my daughter but that would mean a hotel being open as well as the travel etc.......

weebarra · 10/05/2020 18:56

Sorry, not lighthearted. I want to go out for a meal with DH, to the pub with my friends and the DCs to the beach!!

weebarra · 10/05/2020 18:57

And my parents live an hour away so I can't justify driving there - I'm in Scotland so lockdown stricter.

SundayReilly · 10/05/2020 18:58

Dentists

emmcan · 10/05/2020 19:00

On term limits for elections so we could get rid of this shambles of a government.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 10/05/2020 19:00

My husband being allowed to drive 5 miles to go to his birdwatching spot. Before I need to dig up the patio.

Andcake · 10/05/2020 19:04

Schools - even if DC had half a day a week with any other children and we had space to work without the guilt of letting with DC or work down would be amazing.

I don't care about anything but schools. I can't cope with this stress until September

EmMac7 · 10/05/2020 19:06

To be able to go for a drive. Just a drive.

cologne4711 · 10/05/2020 19:09

To see my mum.

But failing that, small group exercise to be allowed again (2m apart, obvs)

cologne4711 · 10/05/2020 19:11

Hmm quite a lot of you are asking for things that are either allowed already or are harmless if you do them.

For example, driving 5 miles to watch birds or going for a drive full stop.

Although if you are in Devon or Cornwall with their overzealous police.

That said, a policeman cycled up my road this evening. I do not know what he thought might be going on up here, it's been blowing a hoolie since lunchtime.

TheHarryFormerlyKnownAsPrince · 10/05/2020 19:12

In Wales, to be allowed to drive to exercise

pickingdaisies · 10/05/2020 19:13

All the things that people rant about to be properly allowed, so they can all stop ranting ( as in if you walk for one hour and 5 minutes people will literally DIE ) - I'd like common sense to be allowed. So all that ranting bollox will stop.
@Mummyoflittledragon, I definitely would like you to have your operation Flowers

Shopkinsdoll · 10/05/2020 19:18

Family also hairdressers, a beautician and a dentist. Also I could be visiting my doctor

Cantata · 10/05/2020 19:22

For the DC to go back to school.

MrSheenandMe · 10/05/2020 19:22

Optician. (Glasses broken)
Work - I have no income

Lighter note -- I want to wander round John Lewis on my own, browse beautiul things, buy something nice without worrying and have coffee while I read my book.

ByzantinePrincess · 10/05/2020 19:31

Operating theatres are open? Either that or DP has been lying to me about where they’re going...
