If you could ask for 1 restriction to be lifted tonight what would it be?

Light hearted please......1 wish not something that needs to be practical or safe etc....
Mine would be that my DC could see family again and they could spend a few days at Grannys house to give me some bloody peace!!!

Being able to see my parents and my DD (4) enjoying fun times with them again. My parents are struggling with physical and mental health issues all of which have started since lockdown and are escalating. We are strictly observing lockdown and when I need to deliver shopping once a week they wave from inside their porch as I drop it on the drive. We would all dearly love to be allowed some quality time together.

RoseDog · 10/05/2020 17:40

My teens to go out and actually see their friends in person rather than them all on FaceTime at the same time shouting over each other, sometimes you go upstairs and think your hearing voices as dd is in the shower but still hear teenagers, she's just leaves them on the video call all having a conversation 😂

SedentaryCat · 10/05/2020 17:41

School please. DS is in Y6 and it would be great if he could finish primary school 'properly'. He is going to a different school to most of his class and probably won't see them again. He's been with them since he started in nursery.

MrsHuntGeneNotJeremyObviously · 10/05/2020 17:44

Clothes shops. I know it's shallow but I miss mooching around the shopping centre.

BeyOnceBeyTwice · 10/05/2020 17:44

I just want to go to my mum's nursing home to make sure I see her before she goes ❤️

Peaseblossom22 · 10/05/2020 17:47

On a more light hearted note I would love to have my nails done and hair cut and coloured and I am so bored of the same dog walks would love to go to the beach ( only 20 minutes away )

WhatPollyForgot · 10/05/2020 17:47

Realistically, my son needs an orthodontist appointment.

Fantasy, I need a roaring night out with my friends. Wine, food, hugs, laughs.

Interesting that wine comes first on my list

SpeedofaSloth · 10/05/2020 17:48

School opening.

toolatetooearly · 10/05/2020 17:48

Pubs open tomorrow.

longtompot · 10/05/2020 17:49

To be able to take my dog out twice a day.

Parky04 · 10/05/2020 17:49

Gym. Outdoor running is awful. Must have put on a stone!

BlueJava · 10/05/2020 17:51

Hairdresser/brow wax lady please!

Chokablok · 10/05/2020 17:51

School opening tomorrow

Chokablok · 10/05/2020 17:51

@longtompot

To be able to take my dog out twice a day.

You are already allowed to do this.

TheMotherofAllDilemmas · 10/05/2020 17:52

See my partner again, even 30 minutes in a fortnight would do.

EasterBuns · 10/05/2020 17:53

Schools to reopen, love the kids much more when they are not under foot all the bloody time.

Jaxhog · 10/05/2020 17:54

Tips are already open!

YE420032c · 10/05/2020 17:54

To be able to have essential repairs done without worrying about snitching neighbours. Leaking toilets and non functioning boilers still have to be repaired and that is within the rules (if you can find a tradesperson to do it) but you can feel the pathetic curtain twitchers watching you.

JorisBonson · 10/05/2020 17:54

Realistically, dentists reopening. I've had a temporary crown since 2 weeks before lockdown and I've never been so excited to get a permanent crown fitted.

Unrealistically, being able to jump on a train from Euston to Glasgow and spend a weekend with my parents.

HRH2020 · 10/05/2020 17:55

Tips to open. Our council won't collect more than a few bin bags (and no recycling) so we have bags of rubbish multiplying :(

transformandriseup · 10/05/2020 17:55

Favourite restaurant but I really should say the recycling centre

HRH2020 · 10/05/2020 17:55

@jaxhog ours opens tomorrow "for emergencies only" whatever that means

confusednortherner · 10/05/2020 17:56

Outdoor sports, please not schools as that's a crazy idea!

countrygirl99 · 10/05/2020 17:56

Allow marriages (not weddings)

OddBoots · 10/05/2020 17:59

Dentists to have the PPE they need for routine work.
