If you could ask for 1 restriction to be lifted tonight what would it be?

A bit of normality for my children:

School
Ballet lessons
Swimming lessons

Auntlouisa · 10/05/2020 18:01

Restaurants.

RedElephants · 10/05/2020 18:01

To be able to give my Dm a hug and be there for her.
She's having a rough time of it at the moment, Dad has dementia and pulmonary fibrosis of the lungs, his dementia has increased rapidly, not eating or drinking, he weighs 6st 10oz.
He's on Anti Bs for a uti at the moment that give him diarrhoea and make him retch.
It's unlikely he'll be around by Christmas.
She is just about coping.
I just want to give her and dad a hug.

OrangeFluff · 10/05/2020 18:04

To be able to see my partner again and have lots of sex Grin

BriefDisaster · 10/05/2020 18:05

For the kids to visit my parents, they all miss each other so much and I could use a few hours peace!

Ihatemyseleffordoingthis · 10/05/2020 18:05

Me and DC3 are desperate to go swimming

but DC1 really needs to see his pals, and his need is greater

Timeandtune · 10/05/2020 18:06

Just to see my son. That’s all.

RunningNinja79 · 10/05/2020 18:10

To visit my family 60 miles away and stay overnight (can have a drink then as I wouldn't be driving home)

Secondly it would have to be a plan when schools may go back (I have 3 DC so pref each years plan would be great)

TabbyMumz · 10/05/2020 18:14

That they start opening up country parks again. Was silly that they closed them when people can self distance....it just meant more people walking in close proximity where they live.

Weallhavevalidopinions · 10/05/2020 18:16

Where can I fly to in 90 minutes.... then put restrictions back in place and I can stay there for the next part of lock down

TheGinGenie · 10/05/2020 18:17

Seeing other people (boyfriend specifically)

Weallhavevalidopinions · 10/05/2020 18:17

Oh this is sad.... I hope this is sorted asap for people to get back together and hug again

Schools back (even part time) after the May week.

Jaxhog · 10/05/2020 18:18

@hrh2020 it means what it says! Only go to the tip if keeping the waste at home is hazardous. Otherwise, it's a non-essential journey.

Think about it. If everyone goes with every bit of crap they don't want at home: the roads will get busier, the tip will have long queues and social distancing will be more difficult.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 10/05/2020 18:18

Restaurants! Fuck family.

LJC1234 · 10/05/2020 18:19

To be able to see my parents

StCharlotte · 10/05/2020 18:19

Allow marriages (not weddings)

Um, how are they different? Even if you get married with just you two and a couple of witnesses it's still by definition a wedding. Apologies if I've missed the point Smile

Clemmieandareallybigbunfight · 10/05/2020 18:19

I want to travel to see my grandma. My parents too but grandma sounds like she's failing.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 10/05/2020 18:19

@RedElephants Flowers sorry, hope you didn't think mine was directed at you.

Frlrlrubert · 10/05/2020 18:20

As a teacher, I want Year 10 back in. Mine are doing mostly bugger all and will be at a disadvantage to those who are still working (year 12 ditto but I don't teach them).

As a parent, I just want DD to be able to hug her grandparents.

Spied · 10/05/2020 18:20

School for my Dc yrs 4&5 please.

RhymingRabbit3 · 10/05/2020 18:21

Playgrounds to open and/or children able to spend time with friends (the adults with them could still socially distance)

The children need to see each other, play as they should and have a sense of normality. My daughter hasnt played with another child for 7 weeks - that is not normal for a 3 year old and I would probably be accused of neglect in normal times if she hadnt socialised with anyone but me for 7 weeks!

Feelinghistoric · 10/05/2020 18:22

Dinner with friends and lots of wine

morelikeaclubsandwich · 10/05/2020 18:23

Orthodontist (and dentist)

Concerned7777 · 10/05/2020 18:24
