So. 4 weeks ago I think I had Coronavirus. Temp over 40 and awful cough. Go prescribed me ABx and steroids but it would not shift. DC went on to develop coughs.

Unknown to me my line manager had also at the same time been admitted to ICU and was confirmed Covid. Which makes me even more sure !

For the past three weeks DH, DC and I have developed a chicken pox / hive rash /. Bruising. . Went to the chemist who said might be scabies or bed bugs. Grim.

Bought all the cream. Bed bug vacuum ! All the works. Thankfully big enough house to sleep in separate rooms.

Still ongoing after 3 weeks soo made an apt with gp over zoom

Gp adament that it is Covid 19 related and is one
Of the symptoms!

Anyone else

I posted a few weeks back about my rash. Ended up going to a dermatologist. Not sure what it was so I was sent for a chest X-ray, blood tests and a biopsy on one of my fingers. Will report back if anything interesting comes up when I see him again.

The odd thing is we've been shielding for 2 months. I did have symptoms in March (loss of taste; lung pain; dizziness) and then again about a month ago (dry cough). This week I've had dizziness and headaches then today the hives appeared.
Do I need to keep separate from DH and DC? Or is there no point since we've been at home together for 2 months anyway?

I live alone and am working from home since the first wee of match. No advise on whether you need to stay away from DH and DC

I had terrible 3 day head ache. Back pain around lung area. Small Cough and some tiredness in early March. Dd was very ill after sking in Italy late feb but she tested negative at local hospital.

I have been toying with a false negative for a while and then my son got covid toes and I got transient hives for 3 days about a month ago so now I really want the antibody test.

DC2 was off school a week or so before lockdown, with a heavy cold he couldn’t shake off. Had a temperature for a day or so. Then started feeling better but suddenly covered in hives (urticaria) and swollen hands and ankles which lasted a few days. Had on online consultation with the practice nurse who suggested post-viral rash. Still no sense of taste and smell.

There are 5 of us in the house, and no one else has had any symptoms or felt ill whilst in lockdown. As a family we have pretty robust constitutions and tend not to pick up bugs despite the DC using London buses and trains every day, so it was surprising that DC2 was ill, so I wonder if it was CV-19.

My son's nursery phoned me up at work wanting to send him home because he looked as if he had chickenpox. I explained that he couldn't have because he'd had it last year. And on examination the spots were slightly different, limited to the back of his neck and with more blood vessels visible as they healed. He said they were itchy though wasn't scratching as much as with chickenpox. They took quite a few weeks to go away, and about a week after they first appeared he developed a cough and ear infection. The rest of us (minus my older son) also had symptoms of covid. We weren't tested but I had also been in close contact with someone who tested positive in hospital. Also very curious to know about this symptom in children, possibly as an early warning sign, because he had no fever or symptoms of illness when they first appeared.

My daughter has this rash but no other symptoms at all. No one else has symptoms. She's not been near anyone else.

Joining this late but definitely think this could be a covid symptom. My 18 month old had a chicken pox type rash although he had chicken pox 6 months ago. Plus the spots aren't as red, more pink and like very small hives without the yellow pus (sorry if TMi) Hubby and I have swollen glands and kids been fine but very tired

Evening All. Have been back to see the consultant. Lupus showed up in the biopsy but my blood work was fine. I am a small bit confused. Not covid related anyway.
