I love looking at this one- remember the early morning toe dipping and the feel of the warm sand- bliss!

Place marking too! I haven't posted much but like @Tartan333 I read every day. Love the holiday pics!

Checking in to new thread. Not sure which poster said, in relation to CBT, plans before mood, ie don't let your mood stop your plans. This is such good advice, really going to try to remember this

Please forgive me and don't ban me from the thread, but I'm about to link to the Daily Fail... incredibly interesting article saying we're well past the peak and infections are down 75%

@M0reGinPlease

Wow thank you for sharing. Sounds positive 🙏

Callybrid · 20/04/2020 16:37

Hi, checking in. Like Arcadia not been posting as much recently due to feeling a bit meh but been reading regularly (I do this very annoying thing of typing out a long post then deciding not to post it...)

Good to be back to home school for me. Busier is better... We found some great online videos from one of the dcs judo clubs so was pleased with that. We didn’t get on with the ubiquitous Joe Wicks at all!

Arcadia · 20/04/2020 16:39

I'm getting fed up with the government now. None of the chinless wonders inspire confidence in me. When I was scared I was compliant but I'm losing my fear of the illness now which is making me impatient.

Anyway a positive today is right now my daughter is chatting away with her friends virtually, and it's such a happy sound of 10 year old girls. My big worry was her being isolated and bored, especially as an only child, but she's doing so well!

M0reGinPlease · 20/04/2020 16:46

@Callybrid Joe b.....d Wicks embodies all of my feelings about lockdown into one massive ball of hatred! Can't bear FaceBrag at the best of times but if I see one more 'look at us, up and at it a fresh-faced family, doing our Joe Wicks workout and loving the lockdown family time' I will loose my mind 😂

That's lovely about your DD @Arcadia. I actually think kids will bounce back from this relatively well.

UpOnDown · 20/04/2020 17:15

Thanks for the new thread, and the uplifting stats Smile

DianneWhatcock · 20/04/2020 17:19

@M0reGinPlease LOL at the joe wicks! I am the same it's only the smug fuckers on my Facebook doing it. oh look at us perfect parents up at 8am doing PE with our dc !! fuck off! 🤣

Waterandlemonjuice · 20/04/2020 17:36

Arcadia · 20/04/2020 17:45

Sorry that was meant for a WhatsApp group Blush

M0reGinPlease · 20/04/2020 17:53

Thank you for the new thread - it’s my lifesaver. ❤️

Back to holiday photos here’s beautiful Croatia from last June. Living out this holiday in my mind has helped me through this when I’ve been struggling to sleep!

Can’t quite believe we’ll ever go on holiday again... Anyway today I’ve worked from home but the sun has shone all day and now we are settling down to strawberries and ice cream and a movie with ds2.

Hi all. Thanks for the new thread. I’m back to work on Wednesday, and feeling a bit nervous.

However, I’m spending a lot of time in the garden while I still can, and have made a nice little kitchen garden out of a neglected corner - including fairy lights and a settle!

Oh, are we doing holiday pics? I was looking at mine from Mexico last year earlier. Feels like a lifetime ago.

Taddda · 20/04/2020 20:19

Croatia and Mexico look beautiful! Both on my 'must do' list! Mine were the Greek islands, first Rhodes second Kos (I think! We did a few that year). Obviously with no holidays on the cards I think its lovely to remember!

As for the smug Joe Wicksers I'm in total agreement.....I like to think the people taking and posting those pics do it for literally 30 seconds then get back to the jaffa cakes....

Poppyliveshere · 20/04/2020 21:08

Flowers I’m here and have been lurking with occasional posting since the first thread. It’s my daily comfort. Love Henry bunny, and my boys always ask to see him! Will try and be a better poster from now 😊

RobinHobb · 20/04/2020 21:17

Yay
Thank you for the thread

Bunnyflop · 20/04/2020 22:33

I love the holiday pics and your new garden area looks fab @Pinkarsedfly !

Henry had his evening binky session which today involved running around the rug like a nutter and jumping in and out of his box. I tried to take photos but as you can see he is just a blur with his ears flapping around!
