Right that's it I'm done. I've been locked in this house since January. First due to health now Coronavirus. I'm done been positive and thankful for having a garden etc - i need to MOOOOOAAAAANNNNN.

Anyone else thoroughly fucked off with it all? Never thought I would miss work and mundane stuff.

PurpleDaisies · 17/04/2020 16:33

I’m a bit fed up today. I think it’s the weather. Moaning is perfectly fine.

HollysBush · 17/04/2020 16:38

Ahhhhhhhhgggggg! Me too. But I’m fed up of putting on PPE, taking off PPE, washing my hands and being SO HOT. Let’s all have a moan without someone saying “Ooo well others have it worse”. Sometimes it helps.

bathsh3ba · 17/04/2020 16:42

Can I join in? I'm fed up of my daughter crying every time lockdown is extended because she's in Y6 and the list of fun graduation activities she is missing out on keeps growing. I'm fed up of wondering if every tickle in the throat is The Virus. I'm fed up of the government treating us like toddlers and not just telling us what they plan to do.

Topseyt · 17/04/2020 16:45

Yep, totally fed up here too.

Blondiney · 17/04/2020 16:47

I'm in. Caught myself soaping down cans of Diet Coke and I thought FFS, this is absolute lunacy.

UterusesBeforeDuderuses · 17/04/2020 16:51

I'm so down for a good moany thread. I'm trapped indoors with a 22mo and 8 week old, I'm so sick of every day being like the last, not being able to take the kids out or see anyone, baby won't nap because the toddler is bored and loud and shouty, trying to think of ways to keep toddler busy. There are lots of people out there have it harder, but it feels good to just moan sometimes!

babasaclover · 17/04/2020 17:18

Yyyyeeeeessssss I have found my people! It really is needed to let off steam sometimes.

I've resorted to wine but need to cut back a bit really as don't want to end of fat or worse hangover and stuck with a toddler.

I really way to be able to go food shopping and pick what I fancy, not what is available if I happen to get a delivery slot.

The baby not napping must be killer!!!!! Mine was a night,are is she missed even 1 nap.

The weather defines an impact, I never liked walking before no had time for it, but I've been really enjoying it and as it's been cold and raining haven't got out fir 2 days now and it's defo ruined they mood.

I am quite enjoying the peaceful walks that I have in the park

IHaveAMagicBean · 17/04/2020 17:36

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE feels the same!, having 7 others agree hardly makes you special.

Dagnabit · 17/04/2020 17:43

I think someone has lost their magic bean...

OP, add me to the list. I’m an introvert and like staying in but I miss the gym, everyone is here all the time and actually I like going out sometimes!

TheGirlWithAPrince · 17/04/2020 17:50

Its my birthday in 3 weeks... I had the holiday of my dreams booked as a late honeymoon that i spent 2 years saving for. I have cried so much because i cant go and im now stuck in a small flat with 2 under 2 year olds with no garden :(

I’m so fed up. Every morning I think I just don’t think I can do another day of this with 3 kids. Especially when the youngest goes on and on about her birthday party that she won’t be having in July 😩and our holiday! 😩

islandofdoom · 17/04/2020 17:53

I usually love staying in but am struggling with lock down. Miss getting my hair cut and going to the cinema.

QuimJongUn · 17/04/2020 17:54

@IHaveAMagicBean aaaand relax.

Nobody is suggesting they're special. Just that all this shit is just that. Shit. Which it is. If you're having tremendous fun during lockdown, or even just feeling ok about it, genuinely, I'm glad for you. You're in the minority however.

I'm done to tiny pieces, by the way. I've got raging toothache and I know getting treatment will be nigh on impossible. I'm bored of only eating food from Aldi (my nearest supermarket, I don't drive and can't walk further for stuff). I miss all the choice I took for granted (especially Waitrose pizzas. Sooo much).

We don't have a garden and are in a small flat on the fourth floor (me, DH and adult DD). We have a splendid view of all our neighbours in all the streets around about enjoying their barbecues, wfh in the sunshine, drinking wine outside on warm evenings and so on, so that's nice for them.

Never mind. At least I can drink wine. Even if it's not in a garden. Sigh.

Soontobe60 · 17/04/2020 18:01

I think someone has lost their magic bean

😂😂😂

I've been stuck in for 6 weeks now as I had a knee op before lockdown. I can't even bloody exercise because of the damn knee! I feel lonely, and pretty worthless. I've joined a sewing group now though and we're making laundry bags for health worker scrubs. So feel a bit less useless.

QuentinWinters · 17/04/2020 18:05

I hate it too. Really really hate it and there is no end in sight. Strangely I feel a bit better now it's raining than I did when it was blazing sun. I really miss my parents/siblings and I don't even know when I am gonna see them next

UterusesBeforeDuderuses · 17/04/2020 18:05

@IHaveAMagicBean you ok hun? Hmm

WhatTiggersDoBest · 17/04/2020 18:05

I want in on the moaning. Trying so hard to stay positive but I'd just started pulling out of the depths of bad PND when this started. I got 2 weeks of mum and baby classes and now we're stuck in our shithole of a rented house until people are allowed to buy houses again because we were mid-sale when lockdown got announced at the last minute with no warning. And we have no garden and a teething baby and I have toothache and a DH who can't clean a toilet and "forgets" washing in the machine so I have to do it all over again. Arrrgh.

TiredofSM · 17/04/2020 18:08

@bathsh3ba yes! Fed up of wondering if I’ve got the virus. Oh my god, I just coughed, I’ve got it.... No, wait, it was just one cough.

I’m in OP. My tiny people are driving me round the bend. Brought the pop up tent inside for them to play with and they spent the entire time either fighting in or asking me to get up and ‘close the door’ for them.

Will definitely be having wine tonight.

Samtsirch · 17/04/2020 18:08

@IHaveAMagicBean
Not any more you don’t, it’s shrivelled up and gone mouldy 😟

NotEverythingIsBlackandwhite · 17/04/2020 18:11

@bathsh3ba

I'm fed up of my daughter crying every time lockdown is extended
Hasn't it only been extended once - yesterday?

@babasaclover
I've resorted to wine but need to cut back a bit really as don't want to end of fat or worse hangover and stuck with a toddler.
As you want to have a moan, maybe here is something else for you to moan about Grin
