satansbumhole · 04/04/2020 20:46

eh? mines been on the line! where did u hear that?

SmileEachDay · 04/04/2020 20:46

Why would that be true? Unless your washing line is in an ITU...

thecatneuterer · 04/04/2020 20:47

Good heavens. Is this virus attacking powers of critical thinking as well as the lungs and immune system?

longearedbat · 04/04/2020 20:47

Is this a joke?

slipperywhensparticus · 04/04/2020 20:48

Its another rumour like 5G

OnlyJudyCanJudgeMe · 04/04/2020 20:49

Seriously? No.

Abraid2 · 04/04/2020 20:50

😳

Nanalisa60 · 04/04/2020 20:51

Are you having a laugh 😂 😂😂

BitchHazel · 04/04/2020 20:51

Obviosuly a load of shite, but I'm curious as to the reason why you wouldn't be able to, hypothetically.

PassiveAggressiveLunchbox · 04/04/2020 20:52

I'm sure it's fine as long as you bleach it as soon as you bring it in.

Kimpeach22 · 04/04/2020 20:52

Some one told me today but I already had mine out on line. But they where convinced its true I thought wouldn't some one have to cough on it because it not in the air or every body would already have it.

dementedpixie · 04/04/2020 20:54

That's insane. Of course it's ok to hang washing out. The wind would disperse anything in the air so it wouldn't be in the clothes

ACertainSupermarket · 04/04/2020 20:54

YNot a problem, in fact a very good idea. Sunlight/UV is a brilliant natural steriliser.
The concept of it being bad is probably based on
a) that viruses can survive on fabric for some hours and be shaken off into the air (would have been destoyed in washing process though so not an issue)
b) that the virus can travel a short distance through the air (in confined areas this could be a risk but highly unlikely to be a risk to clothing outdoors, unless very close to an infected person)

NeighbourPooNameChange · 04/04/2020 20:54

Come on you lot! At least the OP came here to ask :) Is the washing in your garden OP? It’ll be fine
Now more than ever we need to use reason and logic OP!

kevintheorangecarrot · 04/04/2020 20:55

Bloody ridiculous. Of course you can hang the washing out! I'm hanging mine out tomorrow.

ACertainSupermarket · 04/04/2020 20:55

@PassiveAggressiveLunchbox Grin Grin

AreWeAnywhereNear · 04/04/2020 20:55

bloodywhitecat · 04/04/2020 20:56

I'm stuffed then because I have had washing out every day for the past couple of weeks.

DartmoorChef · 04/04/2020 20:58

Dear God.. 🙄

Mrhodgeymaheg · 04/04/2020 21:00

Kimpeach22 · 04/04/2020 21:00

That's absolutely true.
The spiders carry it on their willies which they wipe on your washing.

JorisBonson · 04/04/2020 21:01

Is your washing line on a thoroughfare full of coughing people?
