That is a really good drawing, Bunnyflop. Talent much? (grin)
I go on listening to the World Service because I find it less stressful than nothing but R4, and this morning there was a man talking about facemasks. I have noticed very few here, and he was saying that the places where cv19 has not hit so badly (Mongolia, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and now the Czech Republic) have all been places where facemasks are a norm, so I went and found his youtube video about it.
He does go on a bit, but it is interesting:
The idea (apparently borne out by science at this point) is that a home-made facemask protects you quite a lot, and everyone else almost entirely: so if you haven't got cv19 it is worth making yourself a mask, and if you have (but don't know it yet) it is definitely worth doing. Two layers of cotton, as it might be t-shirt material, and a bit of paper towel between them! Who knew? You take the paper towel out when you get home and put it in the bin (or burn it, I suppose) and wash the mask with soap and water for half a minute to destroy any coronavirus germs, and it is reusable indefinitely.
If we could manage top make that a fashion in this country we could be doing something really worthwhile, by the look of it. You could make them in different colours to go with what you are wearing, even.
