Good: Arnold Swarzenegger -self isolating with his miniature donkey and donating $1m for ppe
Joe Wicks -the nation's PE teacher.

Bad: Dominic Cummings- legging it with the Downing St toilet rolls and now holed up in his bunker self isolating.
Alok Sharma- I just read an article saying the government are using him to bore people into stop watching the daily update and asking all those awkward questions about testing.

OP posts:
ElspethFlashman · 02/04/2020 12:35

Good - Leo Varadkar

Bad - Boris Johnson

TheDrsDocMartens · 02/04/2020 12:42

Bad- Wetherspoons, Jurys Inn, Waterstones, Sports direct

TheDrsDocMartens · 02/04/2020 12:42

Good- James McAvoy

MoreGruel · 02/04/2020 14:22

Good

Sam Neil and Patrick Stewart, for lovely and life affirming Instagram stories.

@bodiposipanda and Jameela Jamil for being the voices of reason reminding us that we don’t need to feel guilty if we are just surviving this process and not writing the next war and peace / learning to make the entire ottolenghi cook book / taking up yoga / losing 2 stone.

Nicola Sturgeon. I’m not a nationalist, but she puts Boris to shame every time she opens her mouth.

Bad

Evangeline Lilly - selfish and stupid, although she has at least apologised for her ridiculous behaviour and comments now that she realises it’s got a bit serious

All the people picking up ‘just a bit extra’ when they shop and therefore leaving the shelves bare for others

Trump - directly responsible for tens of thousands of deaths or more.

Manyminieggs · 02/04/2020 14:28

Good - cardi B

Manyminieggs · 02/04/2020 14:31

More gruel...people HAVE to pick up extra. I'm here with 2 kids for 3 meals a day plus snacks. I don't usually buy half as much food owing to using breakfast club and school dinners for one child, me eating at the office canteen. Of COURSE people are buying just a bit extra...we need more that just a bit extra! Wish people would stop implying that people are being selfish. Maybe a small percentage are, but most ate getting what we need.

Manyminieggs · 02/04/2020 14:31

And on that note...bad: the just in time supple chain!

CarlottaValdez · 02/04/2020 14:32

I expect I’ll be coming out looking bad. I’m already fatter and pastier than normal and my roots are atrocious.

Manyminieggs · 02/04/2020 14:33

Bad: the royal family

EthelMayFergus · 02/04/2020 14:36

Good - Dr. Jenny Harries OBE

Bad - Sadiq Kahn and TFL

fridgeraiders · 02/04/2020 14:40

Good:
the chancellor - think Boris has spotted this and doesn't let him do anymore briefings as he seems so much more professional than boris
James McEvoy
NHS
supermarket workers
Labour Party - showing a measured response but no political point scoring

Bad:
Government - massive errors with lack of testing and PPE
Weatherspoons
Sports Direct

50/50 - general public. Some be absolute twits and thinking the rules don't apply to them/hoarding. Others being absolutely lovely, supporting keyworkers and volunteering in their communities

slipperywhensparticus · 02/04/2020 14:42

Bad my neighbour to the left good my neighbour to the right

HappyHammy · 02/04/2020 14:45

Good: BJ Chancellor NHS Essential workers local comminity support groups The Army
Bad: Royals Twattish public supermarkets China

SuperlativeScrubs · 02/04/2020 14:48

President Trump, who is more concerned with business, stocks and trying to start another fucking WAR while this is happening than the lives of his citizens.

BilboBercow · 02/04/2020 14:53

Bad - Prince Charles, travelling to his holiday home while symptomatic

MissAmandaLaikes · 02/04/2020 14:55

Are there any celebrities who are rolling their sleeves up and actually mucking in with people, delivering things to the vulnerable regularly, helping at foodbanks, actively doing things that you or I would do, instead if playing to the camera , singing, prancing around and saying how wonderful they are... but not DOING anything?

Craiglang · 02/04/2020 14:55

Good - my local rural community coming together and looking after each other. Folks out delivering supplies to those who can't get out, fetching prescriptions and essentials for the elderly and vulnerable, businesses offering free delivery, a local business doing free lunches for local kids in need (no proof required, they'll even deliver the lunch to your doorstep if you're isolating), the locals who have raised over £900 to continue funding the lunches for kids. It's been a welcome reminder that most people are genuinely kind and care about their neighbours, even the ones they don't know.

Bad - The larger corporations who have laid off staff without notice, protected dividends above their staff.

This is a good link rating businesses on how they have treated their staff during this crisis. www.lewiscotter.com/brands

The Tories in general.

Ejmorgan · 02/04/2020 14:56

Is anyone good or bad or is everyone just doing their best day by day .this is unprecedented wish everyone would just stop judging

MrsWolf2 · 02/04/2020 14:56

Bad - me. I haven’t brushed my hair in 3 days

Bad - Assad for euthanising those with Covid in Syria
Bad - China for fibbing on the figures
Bad - Iraq for fibbing on the figures
Bad - Iraq for sending infected people into Saudi Arabia

Good - those who do the Right Things

TulipsInAJug · 02/04/2020 15:00

Disagree about Leo Varadkar.

Saw a nauseating tweet this week where he was sucking up to the Chinese government - ugh.

DianaT1969 · 02/04/2020 15:02

Good -
Chris Whitty - I'm a fan
Boris is doing better than I expected

Bad -
Richard Branson & Virgin Airways for not supporting their staff for even 1 week - telling them to take 8 weeks unpaid

Stelios of Easyjet - stripping the company of cash by taking £60million divided in the middle of March. Disingenuously claiming that 'the world was a very different place then' and he didn't see any reason not to take it. What a whopping lie.. Mobile World Congress, a massive event in Barcelona was cancelled around 15th February. Airlines would have had a massive number of refund requests from that. A Berlin travel event was cancelled at the end of February. 70,000 go to it - so again, lots of refund requests to airlines. Europe was concerned about the virus from mid-Jan.
Lying tosser.
Stripped the company along with the other shareholders so that there are no reserved when they ask the government for a bailout funded by us.

GulliBelle · 02/04/2020 15:04

'sir' Philip Green. Bad. Very bad.
John Finnemore. Good. Very good.

jenganinja · 02/04/2020 15:10
