I’m really interested to see peoples working arrangements now that we have ‘locked down’ and how this crisis might really affect the economy. Are you:
A) working from home and doing 80-100 percent of your job as usual
B) at home and not able to work but still being paid
C) made redundant/laid off during crisis
D) a key worker, still going out to work as usual (including teachers)
E) not a key worker but still being made to physically go into work as usual.

F. Self employed DH job is entirely outside so still working although probably at 80-90% of usual job. (not essential but the business isn't on ones asked to close)
G. I am self employed and unable to work.

Libertylee · 29/03/2020 14:58

Keyworker- currently A but could well be D soon

ZoeandChandon · 29/03/2020 14:59

Binglebong · 29/03/2020 15:00

A but the nature of the work is changing.

delilahbucket · 29/03/2020 15:01

A, but then I've always worked from home

viccat · 29/03/2020 15:01

A. - I'm self-employed and always work from home, currently busy but I expect this may change drastically if my main client's business has to close down temporarily (if stricter restrictions come in for non-essential businesses).

Iwannatellyouastory · 29/03/2020 15:02

I’m D (local authority children services)
DH is A ( we don’t have children at home so he’s able to do 100%)

PoorlyWeasels · 29/03/2020 15:02

(A) except that I'm currently sick so not actually working, with DH and DS (D)

WitchyPoos · 29/03/2020 15:02

D - and doing overtime

MissFlite · 29/03/2020 15:03

Both of us are A but both work from home FT anyway. Just have any necessary contact online instead of face-to-face for the time being.
Both self employed.

I have never been more grateful for being able to make the leap to WFH.

Wolfff · 29/03/2020 15:03

A

Karmagoat · 29/03/2020 15:03

I'm not sure if I'm classified as D or E, I'm a school cleaner but still having to go in to clean even though the school is closed and not even open for keyworkers childrenConfused

D, but manager has put the whole site on split (shorter) shifts to cover the work with fewer people in at once and to minimise everyone's work / contact time, for which we are very grateful

thunderthighsohwoe · 29/03/2020 15:12

D on rota (am a teacher) but am struggling to get anything else done at home due to 16mo DD.

tried20names · 29/03/2020 15:13

Flapjackninja · 29/03/2020 15:14

E

ElsasSalamander · 29/03/2020 15:15

I’m A. Currently doing usual workload but expecting it may reduce a bit next month.

DH is D (keyworker) but is doing A wfh unless called in.

TrashPanda · 29/03/2020 15:16

Me currently B but hopefully A soon, once access all sorted. Although with 3 children it will probably be more like 50%.

DP currently F, self employed, working alone outside and not on the list of businesses required to close. May have supplier issues later in so working while he can.
