I’m really interested to see peoples working arrangements now that we have ‘locked down’ and how this crisis might really affect the economy. Are you:
A) working from home and doing 80-100 percent of your job as usual
B) at home and not able to work but still being paid
C) made redundant/laid off during crisis
D) a key worker, still going out to work as usual (including teachers)
E) not a key worker but still being made to physically go into work as usual.

Dh is A

I work as an invigilator in a senior school...so as exams are cancelled I don’t have any work

So i would be C i guess

SummerHouse · 29/03/2020 14:38

A and E

Mostly working from home but occasionally go in to a cramped office where everyone makes drinks for each other and passes phones over. It's surreal. (I don't make or accept any drinks)

Poshjock · 29/03/2020 14:41

D - I think I am considered a Key Worker but I am currently displaced abroad in one out the work sites (that cannot be closed down staff have to be here for safety reasons). When I get home I am on leave the. I will return to site as normal at the end of leave or earlier as required - travel arrangements notwithstanding.

QM2QEQV · 29/03/2020 14:43

A an lots of extra work as I’m in finance

FishOnPillows · 29/03/2020 14:45

Combination of D & A. I’m a key worker in pharmaceutical manufacturing, and my company are trying really, really hard to enable anyone who possibly can to WFH. They even told us to take our desktop PCs if we needed to!
So I’m now WFH 2 days a week, and back in the labs the other 3 days.

TulipsInAVase · 29/03/2020 14:46

Last week A. Now mostly C. I am self employed and have lost the vast majority of my work, but still have a few things to finish.

Betty1233 · 29/03/2020 14:46

D

MindyStClaire · 29/03/2020 14:48

A for both of us, but probably more like 50-60 percent in truth due to toddler now home full-time. Eternally grateful for decent employers - we've both been told we're not expected to pull our full load and to prioritise our health and families.

Iwalkinmyclothing · 29/03/2020 14:49

I'm D

I could do about 70% of my job from home though, if I had to. But my employer thinks otherwise.

massistar · 29/03/2020 14:49

A

TheNavigator · 29/03/2020 14:49

A for both of us. Work is keeping some structure to my days/week and keeping me sane!

QueenOfPain · 29/03/2020 14:50

A - I am a key worker (nurse) and my organisation shipped me off home on Monday with a desktop computer so I could to telephone triage from home. I’ve worked 6 out of 7 nights this week doing COVID-19 triage from my living room.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 29/03/2020 14:51

A)

LaurieFairyCake · 29/03/2020 14:51

D) Dh

A) me, but only 10% of work as self employed and waiting for self employed bailout

SpeedofaSloth · 29/03/2020 14:52

D

ErrolTheDragon · 29/03/2020 14:53

A - I work part time from home anyway in a role ideally suited to it. The only disruption is remembering to disconnect from the VPN and helping colleagues adapt.

AlunWynsKnee · 29/03/2020 14:53

A for both of us but my team is having to adapt to a new way of working so it's causing quite a lot of disruption. DH has no issues so is doing 100%.

Asuitablecat · 29/03/2020 14:54

None of the above - I am a self employed sole trader , who works from home -
I am able to work at present , but my supply chain is not , so I will soon also be unable to do so
DH would normally be (D) - Key worker but is currently (B) - as he off work sick due to a fracture

RaeCJ82 · 29/03/2020 14:56

A

CaptainMerica · 29/03/2020 14:56

A & A, flexible hours to fit childcare between us.

PrivacyOne · 29/03/2020 14:56

A and D - I have two part time jobs. I wfh in the morning Monday to Friday and then pick up the afternoon/late/night shifts weekdays and weekends.

FaFoutis · 29/03/2020 14:57

A
