@HoffiCoffi13 have you missed all the posts saying he looks ill today? He looks exactly the same as 5 days ago with zero evidence of a cough or breathlessness in his video.

OnlyTheLangoftheTitBerg · 27/03/2020 13:19

The next-in-line after Charles is refusing to cooperate with the FBI on questioning regarding paedophilia allegations.

William is next in line after Charles, not Andrew.

Justaboy · 27/03/2020 13:19

Matt Hancock has caught it as well!

OnlyTheLangoftheTitBerg · 27/03/2020 13:20

Sorry, that's already been addressed, I missed a page.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 27/03/2020 13:21

Per capita infections are much lower in the US.

Isn’t per capita testing much lower than everywhere else too? I know they have increased it in the past few days but they were way below everyone else.

Justaboy · 27/03/2020 13:21

Wonder when Chris Witty will cop a dose?.

ErrolTheDragon · 27/03/2020 13:22

I did raise other, more important issues, such as the absence of protocol for appointing a Prime Minister in the event of Johnson's death. There seems to be a certain reluctance to address reality.*

The queen (or charles, or William) would appoint a PM from the suggested names, who would be people likeliest to have support from the House of a Commons. Which is the standard procedure.

That issue is less pressing than the emerging constitutional crisis facing the UK.

Can you be clear on what exactly you mean by this and your previous or are you just sitting behind your screen in your PJs, nodding sagely and being a massive scare mongerer?

VegetableMunge · 27/03/2020 13:25

What's troubled about the succession when the Queen dies?

PerkingFaintly · 27/03/2020 13:25

Corona virus is less pressing than the UK having a sick Prime Minister?Hmm

Hate to tell you this, "British citizen", but your head of state is the monarch. The regular brief gap between Prime Ministers is not a constitutional crisis.

(It's potentially a practical crisis, if there's work needs to be done by government which can't be carried on, but that's not the same thing.)

But thanks for joining MN just to shitstir, manjoinsmn.

adiposegirl2 · 27/03/2020 13:26

The UK does not have a prescribed method to replace a Prime Minister who dies while in service

Again this illustrates my previous point.

Next in line is the Chancellor. At least is was when I studied Government and Politics many moons ago.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 27/03/2020 13:26

Hmm so now Matt Hancock and Angela Rayner also have it. It seems like it's sweeping through Westminster.

ErrolTheDragon · 27/03/2020 13:27

I don't understand why not a single person is comfortable engaging on the issues of Johnson's and the Queen's troubled successions.*

Cross post - I've answered your question.

itsgettingweird · 27/03/2020 13:27

Sorrow yes I meant he has to SI! But not in bed with a kindle and tv remote like most. The country won't stop running because he's unwell and it's likely he'll still have to play a huge roll.

They haven't proven pregnancy to be a risk. In fact I think it was proven not to be. But they have taken a cautious approach just in case. But obviously fever et c are not good in pregnany.

I don't wish him ill.
But as a side issue I really hope he is held accountable for all the blood on his hands trying for herd immunity.
The information was clear and available that this would result in unacceptable loss of life.
He kept stringing along that actions would be taken while doing nothing as pp said letting events go ahead.
There would have been football and Cheltenham next year they are not necessities.credit
And all the kids about the need for masks.

They Turned down masks and ventilator s.
accountability and taking responsibility.

PerkingFaintly · 27/03/2020 13:28

Do people feel afraid to discuss these issues online? Is it too boring or too complicated?

Ooh look! We got a pro! Keep trying to bait them hooks, sunshine...

deydododatdodontdeydo · 27/03/2020 13:30

FoxEars · 27/03/2020 13:31

"I’m shaking hands continuously. I was at a hospital the other night where I think there were actually a few coronavirus patients and I shook hands with everybody, you’ll be pleased to know. I continue to shake hands."
