My dad has been taken to the hospital

Don't know for sure if its corona but I expect he will be tested now but I'm very worried, he has heart health problems so isn't healthy to begin with but now his oxygen sat levels are low so they've taken him in.

Just need a hand hold I suppose. I have to find the positives here, at least its before the peak so there are beds.

Natsku We were together on a long running thread about 5 years ago. I remember your dad's courage and strength during a really difficult time for your family. I hope that carries him through this awful time. Best wishes to you and all your family.

I just called him, he could answer the phone which is good but he sounded very weak and scared. He asked me to tell my children he loves them which worries me that he thinks he's going to die.

This much be such a worrying time for both of you. My thoughts and best wishes are with both of you and your families. I've sent out a request to 'him upstairs' to take care of your loved ones and keep them safe.

Sorry to hear this Natsku. Is he here in the UK or is he abroad with you?

@Natsku don't read too much into his message to the children. He willl be feeling anxious and it's a natural thing to say no matter how sick or well you are.

The virus is brutal and he will sound weak but that doesn't mean he won't recover. There are people on MN who've had it home and said it was the sickest they've ever been - but they have recovered. Most people do.
